I LOVED reading this book! I read it last year over the summer and I loved how the book was like a diary. It showed marked out words and really expressed who Cora, the main character is. The book is about a young mermaid who gets kicked off the swim team because she got a bad grade in spelling. Cora goes on a journey to try to get her grade up. It is a great book for an audience in elementary school.

This book is really interesting! I love it! It is about a girl named Nikki in 8th grade. Its about her journey through 8th grade and its really relatable. It is more appealing to girls than Diary of a wimpy kid. I Like this way more. It is interesting to see the different things Nikki is interested in like Makeup, TV, Fashion and Popstars. I recommend this book to an audience in middle school and high school!

I would love to get this book for my library! Because it takes place in a hospital setting, I can relate to what happens in the book. I also love the idea of kids getting together at midnight in the hospital to achieve great things.
