Ngkids-book-club-lg-2Anybody else excited for the summer reading prizes to be sent out? I can't wait since I have nothing to read, I finished my whole book shelf and since we moved we put my other books in our extra closet, and it takes a long time to get the books out and we just switched my books a few weeks ago. I can't wait :D

Ngkids-book-club-lg-21. I love to swim, and also sometimes I love looking for shells at the beach, one time me and my cousins got a bunch of shells we found. 2. I just moved to the south so its like 80-90 degrees. It use to be 65-80 degrees in the north where I lived. 3. we use to visit my grandma's house every year but its a long way. we have to take a plane there and ever since we moved we sorta got busy and never got the time. We may go next yr tho. For now I'm doing cheerleading tumbling and I talk to my friends on facetime.

swirlycool's book review was featured in The Ultimate Book of Sharks.
The Ultimate Book of Sharks is filled with amazing facts and pictures! Every page you see in this book is guaranteed with a new fact, a new picture, and color. I was not interested in sharks that much, but when I read this book I was amazed by the pictures of these beautiful sharks. I also was very interested in the facts, and this is actually the first time I've picked up a shark book in 3 years. This National Geographic book is one of the best I've probably read so far. I rate it 5/5 and recommend it to ages 7-16.

The Sword of Summer is by Rick Riordan, who you probably know is the author of the Percy Jackson series. The cover of the book is AMAZING, and I picked it up and started reading it in no time. I will admit, the chapter names are very interesting but I love it! I hate how Rick Riordan put a cliffhanger on the end of this book, but that's the reason I love it and why I was excited to read the next book of this series (which was also great!!). I like this series better than the other Greek mythology series that Rick Riordan has written, and I'm excited to read the next book in this series if he makes another one. I rate this book 5/5, and recommend it to ages 9-16.

The Boxcar Children Series is a book about orphaned kids named Henry, Jessie, Violet, and Benny Alden. This book is by Gertrude Chandler Warner. These 4 orphaned kids find a boxcar and turn it into their home. In this series they have adventures, and these books are always interesting to read. They fear their uncle who did not like their parent's marriage but yet is surprised to find out he is a kind and caring person. He moves their boxcar to his backyard. I rate this book 5/5 and recommend it to grades kindergarten to sixth grade.

The National Geographic Kids Almanac 2018 is not only filled with interesting facts but is also very colorful! Every page in this book is filled with pictures and facts! By looking at the cover of this book, I was very interested and flipped through the pages. I wasn't surprised with all the color and facts in the book on every page because you would know that National Geographic books are all like this. I think that everyone will enjoy this no matter what age you are. I read this book with my mom and we were both very interested. I rate this almanac 4/5 and recommend it for any age, but target it at second through 8th graders.
