Let me just start off by saying that this book is just as fun, whimsical, and marvelous as Roald Dahl's other stories. George lives with his not-so-lovely grandma who is as grumpy as ever. The most horrid, grizzly old grunion of a grandma ever. She needs something stronger than her usual medicine to cure her grouchiness. A special grandma medicine, a remedy for everything. And George knows just what to put in it. (WARNING: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RECREATE THE MEDICINE IN THIS STORY AND FEED IT TO SOMEONE. YOU WILL NOT BE PLEASED WITH HE RESULTS.) He mixes paint and products and chemicals and all sorts of stuff. He feeds it to his grandmother instead of her usual medicine and . . . you guessed it, something very unusual and silly happens. The only way to find out what happens is to read the book. Grandma’s in for the surprise of her life and so is George, when he sees what the medicine has done to her! Moral of the story? Don't trust George. LOL I just made that up. That's not actually the moral (I think). I recommend this story to ages 6 and up. Anyone can enjoy this! Thanks for reading!
