I just watched this movie again recently. This book is based on the movies. It is very saddening but also joyful. The cartoon is sadly less known or talked about along with Pinocchio. This is the same thing for the live action and Cinderella live action .

It is an amazing and heartbreaking story. It has a true message and meaning. I have not finshed it yet, but it keeps drawing me in for more.
