In order to earn some money, Alyssa Larsen finds a 'Help Wanted' advertisement for a place known as Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. The restaurant has an open position: security guard. Freddy's needs a temporary guard for the next 6 days as they move to a new location.

Alyssa takes the job! During her shifts, everything ends up scaring the daylight out of her, but she makes an unlikely friend - Foxy. The animatronic creatures do not approve of Foxy, so they stuff him in Pirate's Cove and hurt him every opportunity they get. They begin hunting him as he begins helping Alyssa during the night shift...
