Fifteen year old Casey Blue lives in East London's grimmest tower block and volunteers at a local riding school, but her dream is to win the world's greatest Three Day Event: the Badminton Horse Trials. When she rescues a starving, half-wild horse, she's convinced that the impossible can be made possible. But she has reckoned without the consequences of her father's criminal record, or the distraction of a boy with melty, dark eyes, with whom she refuses to fall in love. Casey learns the hard way that no matter how high you jump, or how fast you gallop, you can never outrun the past. A real life thriller that delves into the competitive and elite equestrian world from the 2011 Blue Peter Book of the Year award-winning author.

I love horses and this was the book of my dreams. Casey Blue lives in London with her father when she discovers a horse in Murder Mile. Will she be able to do her dream, win the Badminton Horse Trials? I loved this book.

I loved this book. It was perfectly written and as a horse girl it was the dream book. I finished the trilogy in a month and reread it a lot of times. Whether you like horses or not, you are " stuck " to the book until the end and it is full of information on the horse world. Casey Blue is a great rider but also is a normal girl that has to deal with bullies and later a boyfriend. I strongly recommend this book 🐎🐎

Starting as a one dollar horse from the knacker's yard and then becoming a multi-million dollar horse seems like a miracle, and it was my favourite part of this book. When the author was writing about her riding Storm in the Badminton Trials I felt as if I were there to see it and go on that adventure with her. It was an amazing story about how a horse that didn't trust anyone at first slowly came to forming a strong and almost unbreakable bond with Casey Blue, the main character. They've had their ups and downs but in the end their team work worked out. Great book.
