I rate it a 3 out of 5 because it wasn't really my type of story. I like books about fantasy and fiction, but I think that there were some parts in the book that I liked. I really liked the main character and how he is so ambitious. He became the leader and organized a team. They created and experimented with different rockets. But what I like the most in this story was how ambitious and independent the main character was. By talking to his dad and some workers he was able to get materials to create the rockets. He was also able to get a test ground and they even built their own hideout.

I enjoyed this book because it was full of mischief and a very good story. it was about Johnny Gibbs running away because he had to go to another foster home. After this Johnny completely turns his life around and goes from nice to horrible I would recommend reading it.

The Slave Dancer

Slave Dancer was a great book and on a 1-10 ranged scale I would give it a 6.5.The book was well written with many descriptive words to help set the scene, but the first few chapters are a slow start. Eventually, you get into the book and it is an easy read. The ending of the book is not that great but it shows true character.Have Fun Reading!
