I have read the entire series and believe that this book emphasizes the most on Rand's change to his acceptance. However, Mat is not written about as much as I would have liked; he is my favorite character.

Oh my god, star is so cute when he is only a weanling! In the other books he grows up so much! I think that the author did a good job spreading everything out.

William Meriwether Miller has to go on a long trip with his divorced dad along the Lewis and Clark trail. No way! Who would like that?! But along the way, Will learns many new things, about his father and the trip, and his experiences include having an encounter with a bear and meeting a friendly part-Indian named Ollie.

i have a twin we read this book when we were 12 but still love the book at my age 14

This is such a great book. I love all the characters especially Ludelphia. She loves her family and just wants to help them.
