I have read the entire series and believe that this book emphasizes the most on Rand's change to his acceptance. However, Mat is not written about as much as I would have liked; he is my favorite character.

Oh my god, star is so cute when he is only a weanling! In the other books he grows up so much! I think that the author did a good job spreading everything out.

This is such a great book. I love all the characters especially Ludelphia. She loves her family and just wants to help them.

This book is about Chinese mothers and their four American-born daughters. The novel is divided into four major sections, with two sections focusing on the stories of the mothers and two sections on the stories of the daughters. In the novel, includes many Chinese tradition. For example, the red candle. I could related Chinese mother with my grandma, because the Chinese mothers they believed the Chinese tradition is important than the life, such as give birth to boys are better than girls. I like this book when it talked about the Chinese tradition.
