I recently finished the book, and I thought "Never Say Die" was amazing! With a new plot and mystery with every word it will keep you reading past your bedtime. Like all the Alex Rider books, Alex is pushed into working with MI6 again, resilient as always Alex disobeys Mrs.Jones orders and goes on his own mission, to rescue Jack. With new villains/antagonists and dangers this is my 3rd favorite Alex Rider book in the series. I give this book 5/5 stars, and recommend it for kids 10+. You should read the other books in the series to understand the plots in the new book. More thrills and action this new addition to the series will not leave you disappointed! My favourite Alex Rider book is Point Blanc. I hope you enjoy the "Never Say Die" book as much as I did! (PS. The third book in Michael Scott's "Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel" series, The Sorceress, kicks the action up to a whole new level. Adding to the series' menagerie of immortal humans ("humani") and mythological beasts, the book picks up where The Magician left off: the immortal Nicholas Flamel (of The Alchemyst) and the twins, Sophie and Josh, have just arrived at St. Pancras international train station in London. Almost immediately, they're confronted with a demonic bounty hunter that immortal magician John Dee has sent their way. At the same time, Dee's occasional cohort, Niccolo Machiavelli, decides to focus his energy on Perenelle Flamel, the Alchemyst's wife, who has been imprisoned at Alcatraz since the beginning of the series. In this book, Perenelle gets a chance to show off her sorcery and resourcefulness, fighting and forging alliances with ghosts, beasts, and the occasional Elder to try and find a way out of her predicament and back to Flamel. Scott is as playful as ever, introducing new immortals--famous figures from history who (surprise!) are still alive. He also adds to the roster of fantastical beasts, which already includes such intriguing foes as Bastet, the Egyptian cat goddess, and the Morrigan, or Crow Goddess. Raising the stakes with each installment, Scott deftly manages multiple story lines and keeps everything moving pretty quickly, making this third book a real page-turner. More than just another piece in the puzzle of the whole series, The Sorceress is an adventure in its own right, and will certainly leave series fans wanting more.

OK this book is not ok for little kids and I think boys should have this book come in handy. But I just wanted to see how its like so ya. (fun fact) this book was first wrote on paper by a 4th grade boy, and the news spread and his paper writing turned into a book. And he made a how to talk to dads and a how to talk to moms book and I think he should make a how to talk to siblings book. But I enjoyed this book but it was not really ok for little kids. So I think I'll rate this book a 4 star.

The author of Alabama Moon is Watt Key. Alabama Moon is about a boy and his Pap living "off the grid" an Alabama forest. He is hiding from the government which is trying to find them. Pap has always told Moon that the government is horrible but Moon doesn't understand why his Pap says that. When Pap dies and Moon is left to make his own decisions of what is right and what is wrong. This is a very well written book. I liked this book because I've always thought about what it would be like to live off the grid and with no civilization. Also I had a hard time putting this book down because there were so many things that would leave you wondering, what's going to happen next. This book is realistic fiction. There are a lot of people like Moon and his Pap today who live off the grid and hate the government. I would recommend this book to a middle school student. The type of reader that would enjoy this would probably be someone to enjoy action and someone who is a naturalist. In the story an example of an internal conflict is when Moon is in the woods with Kit. Kit becomes sick because he didn't take his medicine. Moon is kicking himself because he realizes that he should've brought Kit's medicine into the woods with them. Moon thought that everything that anyone would need could be found in the woods but, with Kit's medicine Moon realizes that this is not true. An external conflict throughout the book is man V. man. This is apparent when Moon faces Constable Sanders. Sanders hates Moon a lot and does everything he can to hurt Moon and get him back into a boys home or jail.

this book is good. I love how 2 really different animals love each other and are friends. Its really cute.... It shows true and real frienship

As a little girl, Sky was stranded on an island with only her mother, her mother's boyfriend, and his son River. As a teen, River and Sky are rescued from the island and go home to California. Only this does not seem like home to Sky. Read to find out what happens to her mother and River's father. Find out why Sky is not happy in California with her grandmother. Most importantly, find our how deep her love for River really is. Loved this story and enjoy recommending it.

I want to read it because I read the first book, "Things not seen" Plz, tell me if you love it, and if it is as good as Andrew Clements other books.

this is the first book I have ever chosen to read that has no words I would of not started reading if it wert for a project we are doing in school
