Funny Girl: Funniest. Stories. Ever.

Funny Girl: Funniest. Stories. Ever.

By Betsy Bird

This book is a great one for road trips. I've read a few of the stories so far and laughed out loud. Shannon Hale's fictional babysitting story about a terrible twosome was both funny and spooky! I recommend this book to anyone who loves childhoods of great authors.

Rhythmic music, energetic movements, and Fatou's exemplary teaching style quickly win the trio over. But when sticky situations in school and at home may threaten Julie, Lucy, and Alia's dance studies, they must do something to keep doing what they love! Funny and upbeat, this graphic novel is one for the bookshelves!

Cartboy Goes to Camp (Cartboy Series)

Cartboy Goes to Camp (Cartboy Series)

By L. A. Campbell

Cartboy goes to camp is about a boy named Hal, who's dad sends him to Camp Jamestown. Camp Jamestown is a history camp and children do what the Jamestown settlers did. At camp, Hal meets a boy named Vinny. Vinny is looking for pearls buried in Camp Jamestown. Hal agrees to help Vinny find the pearls. I liked this book because it was funny.

Thea Stilton and the Ice Treasure: A Geronimo Stilton Adventure

Thea Stilton and the Ice Treasure: A Geronimo Stilton Adventure

By Thea Stilton

TJL

Well-written and nicely illustrated, as usual. But I really miss the humor in the original Geronimo books. The sisters are a bit monotonous, beyond their clothing, hairstyle and skills. Also the amount of education info is kind of tiring. A sufficiently good story will intrigue readers to seek them out on their own.

This Book Is Anti-Racist

This Book Is Anti-Racist

By Tiffany Jewell

This book is amazing!! The cover is really colorful, the activities are fun, and the writing is super good! It is a good book to read at a time like this. The book teaches you about yourself and it is truly amazing. The drawings are super good and really colorful! Just by looking at them you can tell that the author probably spent a lot of time on the drawings! The author did a really good job on this book and i give this a thumbs up! I recommend this book to anybody who wants to help in this George Floyd protest or anybody who just thinks racism is WRONG.

The Raymie Nightingale Three-Book Collection

The Raymie Nightingale Three-Book Collection

By Kate DiCamillo

This is a very interesting series. I do really like them, and I love Kate DiCamillo, but I think that these, or at least the first one, are for a younger age. Maybe not, but there is definitely something different about these books. I love them though, and I would recommend them for kids ages 9- 14
