The Talented Clementine
By Sara Pennypacker
I really like this book. It was really funny, I thought that on page 132 was the funnyest when Clementine wrote "No peanuts for me" on her little brothers forhead so that the baby-sitter new not to have peanuts or give him any while there parents were going to dinner. I also thought that on page 104 was funny because when the kids were practicing for Talent-Palooza, Night Of The Stars all of the kids fell of the stage. One thing I thought was suprising is when Clementine's mom gave Clementine her high heels. That is why I like this book!

Project Mulberry

This was my summer reading and I absolutely loved it! The conversations between Julia, (the main character) and the author, Ms. Park were a great touch. They make the book unique! :)
Summerlost
By Ally Condie
"Summerlost" is an amazing book! I love that the chapters range from 1-4 pages so it seems like you've accomplished a lot. Cedar and her family move to Iron Creek for the summer after her dad and brother were killed in a car accident. Cedar is not happy to be in Iron Creek but when she meets a neighbor boy who is her same age things look great. Leo the neighbor boy helps Cedar get a job at a Shakespearean festival and they both have the time of their life. Cedar and Leo start to lie and lie some more and they just hope it doesn't blow up in their face. They try to uncover the mystery of Iron Creek's own Hollywood celebrity, Lisette Chamberlain who mysteriously died years earlier. You'll laugh, you'll cry (if you're like me), and you will definitely want Ally Condie to write a sequel. A fantastic read!
