Kids Books - School

While taking a vacation Nancy Drew and friends stumble upon the intriguing mystery of the haunted bridge. This book I recommend for anyone who loves adventures mystery, adventure, and excitement.

This is a great book and is fun to read because you get to make sounds and say funny noises while you read.

So this book was VERY disappointing. Sharon Creech's books were always good but this was an exception. My sister warned me not to read it because she said that it was boring and now I'm sorry that I didn't listen. The plot was really (was there even a plot?) hard to figure out and everything just dragged. You couldn't feel the character's feelings very well. Once I pick up a book I have to finish it. I don't know why. It's just like an instinct. I wish I don't have that kind of instinct or whatever you call it. But I would NOT recommend this, unless you want to be bored.

It is an awesome book. It really shows the hard work you have to put in do be good at something. You can read how a kid can make adult descions.

Like many other well written Kevin Henkes book, Junonia is a story about a girl, named Alice Rice and goes to her beach cottage in Florida during the summer. If she is lucky, everything will be perfect, including her birthday. But when Alice returns she finds many changes and unexpected things start happen.

Abby Carson is failing sixth grade. It isn't that Abby can't do her schoolwork, it's just that she doesn't like doing it. When a warning letter is sent home, Abby realizes that all of her slacking off could cause her to be held back-for real! Unless she meets some specific conditions, including taking an extra-credit project: find a pen pal in a foreign country. Simply enough (even for a girl who hates homework). When Abby's first letter arrives at a small school in Afghanistan, Sadded Bayat is chosen to be her pen pal..... Well, kind of. He is the best writer, but he is also a boy, and in his village it is not appropriate for a boy to correspond with a girl. So, hi younger sister dictates and signs the letter-until Sadded decides what his sister is telling Abby isn't what he'd like Abby to know. As letters flow back and forth between Illinois and Afghanistan, Abby and Sadeed discover that their letters are crossing more than an ocean. They are crossing a huge cultural divide and a minefield of different life-styles and traditions. Their growing friendship is also becoming a growing problem for both communities, and some people are not happy. Suddenly things are not simple!

Regarding the Fountain, by Kate Klise, is a funny book. He problem is when the water fountain does not work then they need a new drinking fountain, but they don't have any water left. Then they need to get a water fountain but they need to find out where all of the water went. The characters are different from other books because this book has many funny characters, and usually books only have one or two. For example, one of the characters goes all over the world for stuff for the fountain and gets a lot of crazy things like one flower all the way from Africa. The characters have funny names like Dee Eel, Sam N. and Wally Russ. Another reason the book is so different and unique is because it is written in letters instead of narration and dialogue. Most of the kids liked it in my books club. If you like funny books, you will like this book.

it is about a little boy who has been home schooled because he is scared people will make fun of him because he has had a lot of surgery done to his face then he he go to school and............................you should read it

I am loving this book, it is about competitive dancers Scarlett, Gracie, Liberty, Rochelle and Bria and they are trying to find out how to get their teacher Miss. Toni and their rivals teacher to be friends again. When the teachers were dancing they got in this HUGE fight and now they never want to talk to each other ever again. I would recommend this book to dancers because if you are not a dancer you might not under stand lots of it.

It didn't have a lot of information it just had facts about earthquakes it was good but not a lot of information .
