This book is about the spring fair and how the girls will get ready, Prianka, Gabrielle And Cecily are planning to go to a spring fair but its only march. They are planning to find stuff to wear and to help with it, Until it gets cancelled. Then it changes everything. After it got rescheduled the girls got there around 7am and stayed til 3 pm (they skipped school) after they realized it got cancelled they decided not to go to the one in june. After the spring fair they all start 7th grade, and that where i leave you on a cliffhanger until you read it. If you struggle with anxiety or stress ins school or anything, this book is a way to just get into a deep thought about different characters and how they feel. Thats why i give it a 5 out of 5.
Legacy (8) (Keeper of the Lost Cities)
By Shannon Messenger
I love this book!! I gotta admit, I was NOT impressed that Sophie and Fitz drifted away from their romantic relationship at the end, but Shannon Messenger did such a good job writing this that I found myself blaming Sophie & Fitz, not her!!! This was a truly incredible book. It went the same as the others in the series, in the sense that all that happened was planning sneak attacks on the Neverseen, the Neverseen getting away, Sophie blaming herself, planning another sneak attack, etc. But honestly, that doesn't make me like the book less. The characters are introduced so well that I really felt like I was in the book (I know, everyone says that, but honestly this series was one of the only ones that I ACTUALLY felt like that) and the way that Sophie & Fitz interact, the way we all know Keefe looks at Sophie, and even Dex and Biana (yes, I caught that!! Love it!!) seems almost like a stereotypical teenage life, except it's not. I can't explain it, but it is so unique and heartwarming that I could not put the book down. I feel bad for her, but I don't blame Sophie for not keeping up with Fitz. She has SO MANY other things going on, but they are a good couple because even though Sophie feels bad about it, Fitz understands. He is there for her as much as possible, whether it's for a shoulder to lean on or somebody to yell at. I am pretty bummed that she was unmatchable, and that Fitz doesn't understand why she won't continue the search for he biological dad. It's also pretty upsetting that she told Keefe first, and not her boyfriend... especially knowing that Keefe had way more going on with his parents and the Neverseen than Fitz did and she still chose to lean on him when she found out. I am so excited to see what book 8.5 will bring!! It's coming out next week!!! I'll be cheering for Fitzphie no matter what happens!!!
The Adventures of Captain Underpants (Captain Underpants #1)
By Dav Pilkey
There's these two kids named George and Harold. They're best friends and they like to play pranks on people. They also write and sell this comic book called Captain Underpants. One day, they play a huge prank and get caught by their school principal who hates them. The principal blackmails them and they have to do whatever he says. So they buy this hypnotizing ring. Then they hypnotize him, so he'll do whatever they say. They accidently hypnotize him into thing he's Captain Underpants, so then they go off to find him. That's as far as a I got. What I though of it: This book was so unbelievable boring and poorly written, I couldn't stand it. I didn't even make it half-way through the book. I was physically incapable of continuing. The characters were extremely flat. They had no personalities what so ever. I'm guessing I was supposed to like George and Harold, though I really wasn't given a reason to. I'm guessing I was supposed to dislike the principal. I really didn't dislike him anymore than George and Harold. They said he was mean and he didn't like smile and laughter, but that was about the only reason I could think of to dislike him. He did punish George and Harold, but that's not a reason to dislike him. They deserved it. He didn't use the proper method, but still... The illustrations were extremely creepy. If this book was supposed to be funny, it failed miserably. There was nothing even remotely funny about it. Overall, this I couldn't bring myself to finish this book, but what I did manage to read was horrendous.

Flunked (Fairy Tale Reform School)
By Jen Calonita
Amusing, witty and full of magic - FLUNKED has a wonderful assortment of fairytales and their characters, most notably, their villains. A wonderful book that will make you think about what defines the good from the bad, giving second chances and who your true friends are. Gilly is a 12 year old who has developed a Robin Hood complex due to her father's dying shoemaking business. She steals from the nobles in order to help put food in her siblings bellies and smiles on their faces. One of six siblings who live in a shoe, Gilly has brought it onto herself to take the risks to do what she can. She knows that if she is caught she will be sent to Fairytale Reform School and her siblings will suffer. When Gilly pulls off her biggest heist to date, she is completely unaware of the trail she leaves behind until she is caught. Having to see the disappointment on her families faces is hard, but being sent away to school is even worse. Who will help and look after her siblings. Fairytale Reform School was founded by the reformed "Wicked Stepmother", Flora. After realizing how badly she mistreated Ella, Flora decided to change her ways and what better way to complete the process than to extend a hand to others who have done wrong and help them find a way to better themselves. After reforming these "villains", she recruited them to do something worthy with themselves within society and asked them to join her faculty at the school. A few of these memorable characters are - the Werewolf that ate Little Red's grandmother, the Sea Witch and the Evil Queen, who is still obsessed with apples. The school itself resembles a castle - with ornate rooms and furniture, and nothing is lacking. Gilly's classes and meals are better than anything else she's ever had in her life. She feels guilty for not being able to take care of her siblings, but also, for living better than them too. However, strange things have been happening at the school. Unexplained disappearances and teachers and students acting differently... something is happening. And Gilly and her friends are going to find out what it is. What I love most about this book is Gilly's personality, she is very strong-minded and not only sticks up for what she believes in but for others too. She won't tolerate any type of bullying towards anyone and is very loyal to what and who she believes in. Gilly is definitely someone you can count on. Her new friends all fit an important role in her life and situation. There is a little magic here and there, but by all means, this is no fairytale where magic fixes everything and things are swept away with a swish of a wand. Everyone has to work hard and your best is always expected. The story is wonderfully written and told strictly from Gilly's point of view, primarily through conversations and her thoughts. I see and know precisely what Gilly does without unnecessary details.
