Love, Lucas
By Chantele Sedgwick
Oakley Nelson suffers with the loss of her older brother Lucas. Love, Lucas by Chantele Sedgwick was a great brook. All though towards the end I feel it was rushed and it wasn't like the previous text. I wish it was like it before all calm in mellow but it felt like she had a deadline and needed to finish the book quickly. All though I would recommend this book because it's a great relaxer and doesn't have lots of turning points that will pop up in your face. The time is now on days, in a coastal town in California. The protagonist is Oakly herself, and the antagonist is her depression and grief from the death. One major conflict is when she moves from her previous home to California with her mother and her Aunt Jo. Another is when she meets Carson Nye. Her new best friend. Oakley pushes people away and the death hunts her. Thinking she is leaving in spring she doesn't want to make friendships or relationships at all, does she leave in spring? She reads daily letters from Lucas before he died which he had wrote for her well he was battling cancer in the hospital. A turning point happens when her father flies out to California and gives her and news but she knew it was coming. I prefer towards the end that turning point a lot better compared to the news because I feel him flying out was so cliche. One that struck me hard was when something very serious and she's involved happens to somebody does she run away from it or remember “You can't run away from your problems, Oakley” written in a previous letter from Lucas? Find out in Love, Lucas by Chantele Sedgwick.

The Love Story That Shouldn't Have Been
By Melissa Grijalva
This book was a bit embarrassing, but I guess that's why I fell in love with it. There was an authenticity to the main character, because she is not perfect. The author doesn't even try to make her likable, which may then some people off. I have to admit that I almost dropped it myself once she started yelling and acting so mean, but could let go. This is a funny and smart book for older teens and adults. Very cute story

When the book got published the word spread and Molly thought her life was over so she ran away. Well eventually a year later she came back home. Everyone treated her like it had just happened yesterday, except for Gabe. Surprisingly he wanted to talk to her and he wanted to hangout with her. This spark that Molly and Gabe had made Patrick very mad but in the end they fell in love and Patrick started talking to Molly again. This was a amazing book and i recommend for everyone to read it!
Evil Librarian
By Michelle Knudsen
Evil Librarian by Michelle Knudsen illustrates how the normal, average, boring life of Cynthia Rothschild changes when a new librarian-- a new evil demon librarian-- comes to work at her school, planning to suck the life-force out of the entire student body. Even worse, the seemingly charming librarian, Mr. Gabriel, allures Cyn’s best friend, Annie, turning her into his evil, soul-sucking little minion-- and Cyn and her hopeless crush, Ryan, are the only ones who know about it. Cyn and Ryan negotiate with demons to save their school, while trying to stop each other from risking their lives-- a difficult thing to do. This nightmarish problem has to be solved while still focusing on the less life-threatening things, like Cyn working behind the scenes in the school’s play, Sweeney Todd, and Ryan playing the Sweeny Todd. As the novel progresses, the readers get to know unforgettable characters, mainly Cyn and Ryan, and it becomes hard to tell which one they love more.
