Devon is my favorite character because although he is not popular in school and some people bullied him, he didn’t hate them and wanted to revenge.Instead, he and Will,a new student that came from a deaf school helped figure out who killed Pat, a person who always bully and tease Devon. He is also a funny guy who wants to solve this mystery because he thinks this is fun.This is a very funny book but sometimes the words the author used isn’t appropriate for children. Will is a person that we should learn from. Although he is deaf but he isn’t afraid of new environment and helped solve a murder case. If I could change the story,I would not let people die. Although the person did some bad things to you,you shouldn’t kill him.You should let the judge judge.

When Ellen first saw the ghost, she thought it was all part of the haunted house. What else could it be? This was one of the scariest haunted houses out there, so of course there would be awesome technology. Boy was she wrong. When Ellen and Cory Streater volunteer to be part of a haunted house, they think nothing of it. They know it would be a fun experience. But soon, Ellen starts hearing noises, and seeing this ghost no one else can see. At first she is scared, but then finds out this ghost is nice. She agrees to help the ghost. The more Ellen helps, the more frightening things become. Her assistant to help her get ready for the haunted house seems to be after her. Weirder things start happening. What is going on? This book was really surprising and I was wowed. I would recommend it. I think more people should read this book.

I think this book is really good. It is about a girl named Jackie. She goes on a business trip with her dad. Her dad collapses at the wheel. Jackie doesn't know what to do. So she gets out of the car and starts waving her arms. Nobody stops. So she gets back in the car and lays down in the back seat. Finally, a truck stops. Jackie gets out of the car and the 2 men take her. Read Three Days to find out what happens to Jackie.

Summer 2015 book club pick- students and I agreed that it was a good book. It is a great series if you want your child to get hooked on reading!
