This book opens with Jabez Wilson, a pawnbroker with unique blazing red hair, visiting Sherlock Holmes to ask for help about a mysterious job he and Wilson had been working. For the simple task of copying parts of a book for a few hours each day, Wilson was paid an amount by a Red-headed League; but suddenly, the Red-headed League disappeared. Holmes investigated and concluded that Vincent Spaulding, who had just recently begun working as an assistant at Wilson's shop and had shown Wilson the Red-headed League's advertisement in a newspaper, is the infamous criminal, John Clay. He figures out Clay had been using the scam of the Red-Headed League to keep Wilson out of his shop so that Clay, along with some accomplice, could dig a tunnel to the vault of a neighboring bank. Along with a bank manager and a police chief, Holmes sets up an ambush in the bank vault and captures the criminals. This is the first sherlock holmes I read. And its amazing!

its pretty good

This is a great dystopian series that I found at my library. I like all the action and suspense and the romantic bits aren't my favorite, but make it more interesting. Excited for her new book, Metaltown!

Red. Is this the Red from Red Riding Hood? Yes. But this Red, is way more braver, and isn't afraid of anything. Except for magic... When Red finds out that her grandma starts feeling ill, she starts panicking and starts looking for ways to heal her. When Red's grandma finds out that Red is going out on adventures, she keeps telling Red to stop and that everyone dies. Red doesn't listen because Red's grandma has always been in her life. Red goes on an amazing adventure that all kids should experience on the sidelines. When I say experiencing it on the sidelines, I mean to that kids will enjoy this story as if they are in this story as spectators. I think that everyone should read this because it is truly a respectful and true book. 5 stars!

I just finished reading a fantastic book called Penny from Heaven by Jennifer L Holm. This book represents a girl and her relationship with her family. The overall themes for the book are growing up and letting go of the past. It made me think about me and my relationship with my family by reflecting on those we have lost and how lucky I am to have such a big family. I give Penny from Heaven 4 out of 5 stars, that means people might start loving it. I primarily recommend this book to families of all ages. The characters in the book are of course Penny as the main character, 11 when the book start and 12 by the time that it ended. Her uncle Dominic, her dad’s brother, is her favorite uncle because dad died when she was just a baby. Her dad’s brothers treat her extra special and uncle Dominic is her all-time favorite. Since her dad died when she was just a baby, Penny had a good relationship with her mom and that’s another character. Her and mom also lived with her grandparents, Mom’s parents, Mimi the bad cook and Pop-Pop Mr. Deaf in one ear so he doesn’t hear good and he also talks loud. Penny has a lot of cousins but her best friend would be Frankie, they all go on adventures together. Her mom also had a boyfriend, Pop Mulligan who Penny hated at first but by the end she thought he was an okay guy, and if you want to know more read the story. The book takes place in a small town in New Jersey in 1953. The main settings are Mimi and Pop-Pop’s house, where Penny and her mom live as well. Another important place is her Italian grandmother’s, Dad’s mom’s house. Her Nonny’s cooking is a lot better than Mimi’s cooking that’s for sure. Her uncle Ralphie, one of dad’s many brother’s butcher shop where Penny and Frankie work for the summer is a very important place. A place Penny spent a lot of time in was the hospital because something bad happened to her and she had to stay there for a long time so it became pretty important. The writer’s style was very easy to read because Jennifer L Holm is Penny’s Daughter. She wrote about things that actually happened to her mom. Something that I liked was Penny and her mom’s relationship, their all each other has, expect for Mimi and Pop-Pop. Even when a new family member came in Penny was the most important thing to her mom. In conclusion, once again I recommend this book to families with young kids. There are a few things that I would change if I could, Mr. Mulligan having a few kids might be good too but I don’t mind if there’s just the three of them. But I liked that Jennifer L Holm wrote about her mom’s life. I give this book four out of five stars. This is also a great book for a family that lost someone and readjusting to a new life without the parent there all the time. Also I’d recommend this book for blended families because Penny’s family was blended by the end.

This book was okay...so Gina loves money and hope to become a millionaire before she's a teenager even though she's only 10 years old. During the summer she forms a group called the "Get Rich Quick Club" with her neighbors: Eddie, Teddy, Rob, and Quincy hoping to make a lot of money. And one day during one of their club meetings, Rob comes up with an idea to snap a fake picture of a UFO to sell to a newspaper to earn some money.

I have not red it yet but its look interesting

The mouse and his child are two windup mice. Once, they danced in a circle every Christmas, but now, their fur is falling off, their pants are torn, and the only thing they can do is walk straight. The two mice have to evade Manny Rat, who's obsessed with smashing the mouse and his child for making a fool of him. The problem is, the two mice need to be wound up to walk. Will they escape Manny Rat and fulfill their ambition of becoming self-winding? And will they be reunited with their old friends? Or will they be smashed? The book was funny and exciting, and the illustrations were excellent! I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading humorous books about animals.

Love it! This book is all about, teamwork, friendship, and more importantly, working together as a team! This book is SUPER good book! This should get more followers for this book...but still, it`s so good!
