This book is an absolutely amazing conclusion to the lunar chronicles series! It is a pretty thick book and took me a long time to read it, but it was totally worth it. This book focuses mainly on Winter, Levana's beautiful step daughter, and is based on the fairy tale Snow White. Winter is rumored to be the fairest girl in all the land, which upsets Levana very much. This is why, previously, Levana forced Winter to scar herself on her cheek, but much to Levana's dismay, this seemed to accentuate Winter's beauty even more. Winter also refuses to use glamour to hide her scars or to manipulate anyone, after she realized very young that glamour could be used for more evil than good. This causes Winter to have hallucinations and go crazy once in a while, because she refuses to use her gift. And of course, there has to be a love interest, in this case it is the royal guard Jacin. If that name sounds familiar, you are correct, Jacin was present in the previous book, Cress, but is thought to have betrayed the Rampion crew. He came back to Luna and is now appointed as Winter's personal guard. Meanwhile, on the Rampion, Cinder, Wolf, Cress, Iko, and Captain Thorne, are formulating a plan to overthrow Levana, and rescue Scarlet from Luna. But in order to do this they have to get onto Luna, and this is where Kai comes in. He needs to find a way to move the wedding and coronation to Luna, instead of Earth, this proves to be the simple part, because there are much more hardships ahead. The book follows the journeys of everyone as they get separated, reunited, and reacquainted over and over again. Winter and Scarlet escape from the castle, faking Winters death, where they meet Cress after she had gotten separated from Cinder, Thorne, Wolf, and Iko when they made a big scene escaping from the docks. Their plan has to be modified many times over, but in the end they all live happily ever after, but after way more sacrifices and battles then the original fairy tales ever had. This series is by far my favorite of all time, I loved the author's creativity in mixing so many different genres, the classic fairy tale, futuristic technology, sci-fi battles, fantasy adventure, and a hint of romance. Every middle schooler should have a chance to read this series, because you won't regret it.

This book is so hilarious! Butts, ice, the mean Mr Armstrong and none other that Max and rivalry with Abby!

It’s really funny and I like how it’s in first person

I've read the books until now, and I'm looking forward to read this one! Nicholas Flamel is an action packed series, and is amazing for grades 6-8 :)

I really like The 39 Clues, and when I found out that Linda Sue Park had another book, about Korea under Japanese rule (I'm from South Korea, not North, why does everyone ask that), I was so curious I had to read the book. When My Name Was Keoko is about the time Korea was under Japanese rule. It is written in two perspectives, Sun-hee and Tae-yul's. I loved how some of the characters (Sun-hee, Tae-yul, their parents, Mrs. Ahn (a neighbor), and Tomo) rebelled against Japan in quiet or energetic (if that makes sense) ways. This book beautifully portrayed how a family living in those times would act. I'm a sucker for historical fiction and teenage books, so When My Name Was Keoko was perfect! The ending wrapped the whole book wonderfully, with Sun-hee teaching Tae-yul the Korean alphabet. However, something that could have been better is the lack of background information. Someone unfamiliar with Korea's history might've initially felt confused or bored. I also worried that using Korean pronouns would perplex readers who do not know Korean. To summarize, When My Name Was Keoko is a great book about rebellion, family, and strength. Even though it may be confusing for people who didn't have a lot of Korean culture exposure, I recommend this book for 9 and up!

''Lida thought she was safe.''- This book is so emotional! The fact that the author had asked someone to tell them about their story, their story about getting captured by Hitler and basing it off of a book, is incredible. Lida has been captured by the Nazi and separated from her sister Larissa. Now she has been taken to a camp with other kids like her. When they get there, children under 12 are separated in one group, and over 12 in another. An older kid told her to lie to them about your age, say you're older. They say if you're older, you're useful. And how she knows this? This isn't the first time she was captured by the Nazi. But when Lida's friend gets an idea to sabotage the bombs they are assigned to make, it may work. They tell them they are watched all times. But they can carry dirt and dump it into the bombs. The idea actually works. Soon Lida and her friends who survived get rescued by the American army. But what about Larissa? Fortunately, Lida gets a letter from her sister saying she got rescued and is in Canada! This book was so detailed and I would definitely give it a 5/5 rating. I recommend this to people interested in the Nazi and Adolf Hitler.

In this book Julian’s grandma(Sara) is telling Julian a chapter of a dark moment in her life. It was pretty hard for her to tell Julian this story. She tells parts that she has told no one. Except Julian. R.J. Palacio did such a nice job on this book, but at some parts it has French so I couldn’t understand.This book is a roller coaster of emotions. I cried at some parts, but truly this book is so amazing. This book is for sure a number 1 book.

Another story featuring a girl, Felicity Merriman, a very spunky colonial girl who has lived during the American Revolutionary War against Great Britain. Her father`s apprentice, Ben, has broken the apprenticeship agreement due to Ben running away to join George Washington`s army to war. But Felicity also has to help Ben to do something that is very important to Ben, and that meant that Felicity has to have giant amount of courage, strength but also wisdom to help. Would definitely recommend this book. - Happy Reading!

Her parents, Mr. And Mrs. Merriman always telling Felicity specific things of what not to do, because well, she can be a troublemaker and I think she is also daredevil every time when she is left in charge of her younger sister, Nan. Her father's store apprentice, Ben, who Felicity looks up to, even though Ben doesn't even have a real power over the store. But one day, Felicity has heard that there is a horse, a copper mare, which was owned by a man named Jiggy Nye. But Mr. Nye has treated that mare very badly that this mare ended up feeling afraid of him until Felicity has rescued her who Felicity has named, Penny, because of her copper fur.
