This is story starts with two young children named Gretel and Hans Brinker. They are poor with a father, paralyzed, and a mother who is kind and warm-hearted. Hilda, a daughter of the rich mayor gives Hans eight kwartjes, or eight pieces of silver to buy skates for the skate race. Hans wants Gretel to have warm clothes while Gretel wants Hans to have the skates. Hans will pay Hilda back with a beautiful wooden necklace. Hans has a talent in carving and studies, Gretel in baking and singing. When Hans meets the doctor he wants to save his father….

Professor William Waterman Sherman wants some free, peace and quiet. Aboard the Globe, a hot air balloon he leaves San Francisco on a journey for a year, or so he says. The wind and the gulls happen to blow him to a island called The Pacific Island, Krakatoa. He meets Mr. F who explains to him that to others the island is an inhabited place so he says the a professor would have landed here anyway. They would have shot his balloon (so he could land) for this island is a secret. In Krakatoa there are volcanic land quakes, unimaginable wealth of diamonds, and much friendly people. The only catch, Professor William Waterman Sherman is not allowed to leave the island... The professor once again learns about the island’s government the “restaurant style” government, where each family(there are 20) owns a restaurant and they cook for the whole town once a week. There are various contraptions that make life easier, such as a bed that changes its own sheets. The professor now goes swimming often and he is telling his tale of San Francisco when the earth starts shaking violently and all jump to escape on the 21 balloon platform contraption. They live on Dutch cocoa and a dish of meat, sauerkraut, sausages, and gravy. Since the professor doesn’t have a parachute he must be remained to land the platform when all the others jump off to countries and close to the ground the F family, the professor’s friends does too. Now that is the tale of why he was stranded alone on with 21 balloons and 2 diamond cufflinks.

This book is about one day the bears decide they need to do a spring clean so they start at the bottom and work there way up....after they go to every room and take out a lot of stuff they decide to have a yard sale . After they see all of there stuff in the yard they decide that they want to keep all of the stuff they got rid of .so they put it all in the attic.this is a pretty funny book .I recommend it to new readers.its pretty little.thank u for reading my review - Pizzagirl7

This is a book about a girl who is invisible and in the background at school so when an old lady asks tells her she can have whatever she likes, Wilma Sturtz asks to be the most popular girl in school. Suddenly she has everything she wished for and more, but nothing lasts forever. Wilma is faced with the problem that her time in the spotlight is running out. This is a great book and I really enjoyed reading it!

I loves this book because in one part Pinkalicious brought Goldie, her unicorn, to school. But Goldie doesn't know any of the rules for school... Read the book to find out what happens next! I hope you enjoy your review! I recommend this book for ages 4-5!

I discovered this book yesterday, and I love it! The plot is so unique, and I have read many books that try to replicate that idea, and they did not succeed. But Liz Braswell accomplished the goal. I loved this book!!!

But, it's a little like reading Shakespeare by yourself

This book is just great. It's a little like Harry Potter, but way more mature (not Game-Of-Thrones-mature; this one is still for teens). It has lots of characters we just can't help but to deeply love or to hate so much we'd like to just put our hands through the book and strangle them. Of course, that means this book has exceptional antagonists, conspiracys, secrets... heck, even the obligatory magical tournament at the end of the year, which is, as in many books about schools of some sort, the climax of the book, has more to it than meets the eyes, and the protagonist's victory becomes more important than ever in books like this one (thus adding extra tension). The setting is described in a very rich way, putting in just enough details to leave us with a very good idea of the surroundings, but without getting boring. The various characters, both the goodies and the baddies, are interesting and well developed. I honestly can't think of anything bad to say about the book. Perhaps only that the final showdown is a little short for the huge amount of time spent building it up, but it still almost makes up for it in suspense, still delivering a finale I always like to read again. And of course, there's the twist in the end that'll make you run to the next library and buy its sequel, The Inquisition. Lucky you who read the book after its sequel coming out... Of course, after the way The Inquisition ends, I just can't wait for book 3!

In this amazing adventure Belle finds friends,meets enemies, and learns that you are the author of your own story during all the twists and turns. I would recommend this to anyone who loves the Beauty and the Beast story and understands the feeling of getting lost in a book.

This book I tried reading it loads of times but COD is 100000000 times better
