America Singer is still part of the Selection, but after what happened to her friend Marlee, and almost having to leave the Selection, she is not the same as before. I believe this book was better than the Elite, but not better than the Selection. In the Elite, Maxon tells her that he likes her, and that he would like her to be with him, meaning that she would just have to tell him she loves him to end the Selection, yet at the beginning of the book she is trying to seduce him, which is pointless. She thinks many times about telling Maxon that she loves him, yet never says so, because according to her, she is afraid, since once she says the words, there is no taking them back. We encounter another scene where she has trouble keeping a decision too, which makes us question whether or not she would make a good queen. If only her character were different, the book would be more enjoyable.

I love Pippi she is the best character other then the monkey Mr. Nilsson. It is about a nine year old girl who has lost her mom when she was young and her father to the sea(she thinks that he is the king of the cannibals.) She also has a neighbor with two kids called Annika and Tommy. they are very nice children and they all have adventures together most of the time with Mr. Nilsson and some times with Pippi horse. The things that Pippi does : moves into Villa Villekulla(the house), thing finder and gets into a fight, plays tag with some Police men, goes to school, sits on a gate and climes a tree.

what an amazing book!!!! even though spanish isn't my culture, i still love to read different books and learn about different cultures!!!

This is another Newbery Medal book in my collection. Sometimes, it's really confusing, but not because of varied vocabulary. Anyone who reads this book might learn a new fortune-telling trick!

Has anyone read this book? P.S. why does it look interesting when I haven't read the book.

Rescued was a heartwarming story about two unlikely brothers John, and his pet orangutan Raja. John and Raja spent years closely together after John's business-man father brought him home as a pet. John and Raja did everything together; eat and play video games and exercise. But John and Raja are growing up, and troubles ensue. Then when John's parents are divorced, John and Raja are split up. Two years go by without them being able to see each other. Then John and his mom find out that John's dad is having financial difficulty, is moving, and selling Raja to a zoo. John goes to say a final goodbye, but finds that his companion is no longer a cute baby, but an adult orangutan who is lonely and angry. And things get even worse when John visits Raja in the zoo-and finds out it is more like a prison. So John and Raja are on the run. Will the two regain the friendship they had growing up? Will John find a home for Raja? This book was inspirational, even if it was predictable. I would recommend this book to animal lovers, and probably for older readers. I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars.

it was pretty good I wouldn't read it again I am really just making this because i want another badge

This is the 3rd book in the Willow Falls series written by Wendy Mass. In this book Tara is forced to visit her mom's home town, Willow Falls, due to an incident involving a stolen goat, a can of pepper spray, and the principal. At first Tara's bummed. But after arriving at Willow Falls Tara is starting to feel a little bit better. For the first time, she's making new friends, she and her cousin are finally getting along, she might meet Jake Harrison ( a teenage movie idol) and she's even directing a play! But when Tara learns the real reason she came to Willow Falls she's not so happy anymore. What will happen? This book teaches you the real meaning being family and friends. Read the book to find out! Right after Liz and the critter club makes tons of plans for the summer , Liz's mom tells her she has to go to summer school to work on her math grades . Art first Liz was really mad because she had to miss out on an art class but she starts to get used to it .. You'll have to read the rest to find out what happens! I recommend this book to younger kids and I rate this book 3/5 stars because even know it's pretty young , it's not a bad book. Thank you for this review! - Pizzagirl7 💋
