If you've been following Lemony Snicket's A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS, then you've undoubtedly read of Beatrice Baudelaire. Who she is, exactly, is a mystery. And although this book is entitled THE BEATRICE LETTERS, don't think that you'll finally learn who Beatrice is. You won't. In fact, there's not a whole lot you'll learn about anything or anyone having to do with the series. Don't get me wrong. THE BEATRICE LETTERS is fun. It's gorgeously packaged. It comes with a poster, a dossier of sorts that contains letters to Beatrice and letters from Beatrice. It has ingenious pop-out letters that you can use to attempt to decode a number of anagrams. It has business cards. It has pictures of a metal tool and a paperweight. It has, in fact, all manner of beautifully put together items that tell you nothing. For the ultimate A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS fan, this is a book you must include in your collection. For the bored fan, this is a book that will provide you with hours of hair-pulling frustration as you attempt to decipher clues that seem to have no answer. For the mid-line fan, this is a book that just looks pretty. For cleverness, ingenuity, and presentation, THE BEATRICE LETTERS gets 5 Stars. For content, or at least helpful content, the book gets 3 Stars. Overall, a 4 Star read, but one I would recommend most strongly to the biggest Baudelaire devotee.

Murphy's law reigns supreme in the life of student witch, Mildred Hubble--anything that can go wrong does. She still manages to save the day on multiple occasions. A light, fun read for children 8-11. I like children's books and this was fun, but very young and light. It was cute and children this age will enjoy it. It's not an ambitious book like Harry Potter. This one, by the way, came first and is quite similar in some ways, it's a boarding school with classes in potions etc. and a big spooky castle. The difference is, there is no abiding force of evil against which to struggle. This may be appropriate for very young children, but makes the book seem a bit fluffy in comparison. The evil that does read its head is minor and brief. I love children's literature. This book is good, but not great. And isn’t that what we want with children’s books, for them to leave a positive lasting impression?

I think kids should read Junie b. Jones because it is funny and to kids it's a life long lesson. Junie b. And her big fat mouth she puts everything into her mouth that she see's on the ground."DONT YOU EVER PUT ANYTHING IN YOUR MOUTH YOU SEE ON THE GROUND "the janitor said.I really like the book Junie b. Jones and maybe you will to.

I have enjoyed reading the Stink books so far. I've been reading them, and I have loved them so much. The relationship between Stink and his sister Judy is a love/hate relationship, and it cracks me up. At times they help each other. At times they work together. At times they play pranks on each other. At times, they are sick of each other. At times they try to get each other in trouble. It reminds me very much of my own relationship with my sister. After each chapter, there is a comic that has been written by Stink. These comics are silly, but I love them. They make me read the comic part three or four times. This is a great read aloud book/series for young boys, I would guess any elementary school aged, although my three year old enjoys this as a bedtime story. What is cool about this book is that even though it is for kids, I still enjoyed reading it. It is well written, has great characters, has funny scenes, and really captures the essence of being a kid. This is a first-purchase for elementary libraries.

I love this book because it makes learning interesting. It gives you the feel the feel of someone from the future and is a mix of fiction and nonfiction.

This is book is so awesome! It caught my eye in the library because I love the Judy Moody books. I think that Stink is as funny as Judy. I like this book. It is simply hilarious! I was laughing at every page turner. I won't spoil it with any specifics, but if you like comics or a kid who writes comics then I think you will love, Love, LOve, LOVe, LOVE this book!

I love this book it is so funny! I like how the dogs mistake things for other things. For example is the book they almost always mistake a club for a club sandwich. Also for half of the book they don't even know that they are even in a club!

Evreyone must read this book its crazy, funny, and fun! One sad thing is that Nate cant get a girl to tell the truth he dose not deserve one but he wants really his Jenny m'lady I wish him luck. Big Nate rocks GO! GO! Big Nate even if he dose not get Jenny BOO Gina. Cheer Big Nate.

What happens when you zap a goldfish dumped in green gunk? A Big Fat Zombie Goldfish! After Tom's older evil scientist brother Mark dumps his goldfish in toxic gunk, Tom brings the fish back to life by zapping it with a battery. He and his best friend, Pradeep (who has an evil computer genius brother, Sanj) soon realize that the fish has hypnotized Sami (Pradeep's younger sister). After learning about this, Sanj and Mark form BBEDLAM (Big Brothers' Evil Deeds to LIttle Annoying Morons). The plan to hypnotize the Mark's school. While BBEDLAM's plan work, or can Pradeep and Mark win? Read the book to find out. This was a cool book. I would recommend this book for grades 3+.

Have you ever read bad kitty? Bad kitty is a funny book. My opinion is that it's a great book. The characters are bad kitty puppy and their owner. Bad kitty doesn't like puppy. They always get into a fight. They have more books about bad kitty. There is one about when bad kitty and puppy go to school. My reasons are that it has fun facts. For example, the only animals that don’t like baths are cats. My second reason is that it is so crazy! My last example is that it all the problems happen at the house. In conclusion you should read bad kitty because it is funny. What You need to do is read bad kitty. What will you think of bad kitty ?
