Middle School: Save Rafe!

I loved this book I would recommend this to people that like funny but almost real stories or if you like drawing Rafe is a boy living a normal life until he goes to this camp to get back in school he meets new friends and learns to work in teams and try new things and to explore life just a little deeper than you already has it gave me inspiration to make a camp for my stuffed animals to do it gives inspiration to not give and do not back up when times are tough.
The Great Shelby Holmes: Girl Detective
By Elizabeth Eulberg
The Great Sherlock Holmes- wait, did I say Sherlock? No, I meant The Great Shelby Holmesβ¦ there so analogous in personalities, I almost confused myself! Okayβ¦ maybe Iβm a bit exaggerating, after all she doesnβt smoke a pipe like Sherlock, but Detective Shelby is best of the bestβ¦ Did I tell you that sheβs nine and is in sixth grade! Although she may be someone one would want to underestimate.. I REPEAT: Do not underestimate Detective Shelby (trust me on that one)... Meet Dr. John Hamish Watson- aww man I did it again! I meant John Watsonβ¦. Sherlock Holmesβs friend and associateβ¦ AGAIN, I got myself carried awayβ¦ Anyways, John Watson is the kid who moves near Shelbyβs home- sure the way I talk about him seems unimportantβ¦ but John and Shelby are the true key in order to solving a caseβ¦ wellβ¦ any case. The thing is Shelby never had any friendsβ¦ and she would one aloof duckβ¦ but itβs would okay because she would always be engrossed in solving mysteries and pissing off incompetent detectives adults like Inspector G. Lestradeβ¦ oops I meant Detective Lestrade(except Inspector Lestrade can be more respected instead of Detective Lestrade- youβll realize why), but it makes complete senseβ¦ Detective Lestrade is incompetent, very immature (I would have mistaken her for a nine year old instead of an adult) Anyways, Shelby shows John around the vicinity and John speculates how Shelby is a celebrity (well, sort of), everybody acknowledges her and asks if she wants somethingβ¦ One day when Shelby was βwalkingβ John, Tamraβ a student from The Academyβ was in a dire need of helpβ¦ Her show dog, Daisy, was missing! So on they go to their βperilousβ journey. So as Shelby and John observes around Tamraβs opulent home, they come across Zareen and her dog and Zane. They actually come across a lot of suspects, but not that many evidenceβ¦ Uh oh! Could it be Zareen because sheβs jealous of Tamra and she wants all the attention.. Or could it be the dog trainer, Emerson, who was caught in a lie? Oh, could it be Tamra who did it to go to Paris with her sister? . Wait weβre not at that part yetβ¦ Anyways John feels bad because he thinks heβs using Shelby to make βactual friendsβ like Zane, who can βplay ballβ like Watson (sorry, Iβm just testing out the nickname Shelby has for John which is Watson)... As they looked through the evidence and the βcrime scene,β so many elements come in play which is why itβs so hard to find the culprit- but not to Shelby and John. While John was playing pickup basketball with Zane and his friends, they obtained a lead! DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNNβ¦ Could this be the breaking point and are they going to find the culprit? So this story was such a fun break from reading depressing short storiesβ¦ I was completely shocked about who did itβ¦ I really liked the overall message and the content itself.. It really reminded me of Friday Barnes- a book- I REALLY RECOMMENDβ¦ And it all comes down to this: what everybody needs is a true friend. For people who enjoy solving mysteries, Sherlock Holmes, and reading about friendship, this book is for you! Hope you read this amazing, mysterious, adventurous, and suspenseful bookβ¦ because it WILL keep you up! Enjoy!

This book is adventurous and has many problems and scary parts but they eventually fix it.First, they didn't or forgot to bring the tent.Next, Freddy and Robbie ran to get fire wood but they kicked a bee hive and the bees chased them until they jumped into the water. His parents were very mad and they took a long time to cool off.Later, at night, a bear came to them to eat food and they lost all of their food.Unfortunately, Freddy's dad made a skunk spray him with deodorant and he got so stinky he even jumped into the big lake.πππππ
