Their Eyes Were Watching God

Their Eyes Were Watching God

By Zora Neale Hurston

This book is about a girl named Janie who ends up having 3 husbands and got married at sixteen because her grandmother forced her. I decided to read this book because my sister recommended it to me and I actually liked it. Its interesting and has good conflicts not that its all about conflicts. I would recommend this book because its a book where you can read nonstop. However I recommend this book to a teenage girl because it has a good theme/message to it.

Betsy Ross

Betsy Ross

By Alexandra Wallner

I loved reading about Betsy Ross, It was about Independence day. There was a time during this story that there was a Revolutionary War. I read about how America became America, and I learned the truth about our Country's history. I think all children should read this book, and learn about what happened back in 1776 because History repeats itself and we need to be aware of what is going on in our beautiful country.

I wish I could give this book Six stars. I loved a A Really Short History of Nearly Everything to due to Bill Bryon's comical way of explaining extremely difficult concepts. Everything from Einsteins's Relativity to Quantum Mechanics is available. I recommend to anyone who has an interest in science.
