Elves Don't Wear Hard Hats (The Adventures of the Bailey School Kids, #17)
By Debbie Dadey, Marcia Thornton Jones
This book is very funny and gets my mind shakin! Its christmas time and its also time for the Bailey City School to get a new playground. The parnets are arguing and disagreeing about the playground. Not the best way to spread Christmas Cheer! The construction workers are odd and real short! Liza suspects there from the north pole! Hollis Bell, one of the construction workers, told the kids not to look in his trailer, but when they do,They see a bunch of Christmas Trees! GUESS YOULL NEED TO READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT!!!
Paper Hearts (The Heartbreak Chronicles)
By Ali Novak
Abigail Krus
This book is amazing. It tells a romantic story between a guy who is famous and a regular girl. I personally love those kinds of stories, so I fell in love with this one. The story is well written and thought out and is a great book to just curl up on the couch with on a rainy day.
Monsters Unleashed #2: Bugging Out

I know that I am reading the three books at one time, but I can't put down this series!
CHERUB: The Recruit; The Dealer; Maximum Security
By Robert Muchamore
This has three books of this series recommended to read in order. Great story. One of the best books i've ever read.
Prince of Wolves: Book 1, Grey Wolves Series
By Quinn A. Loftis
I loved this book! The book was fantastic. The pace was perfect. The language of Jen and her friends was realistic and hilarious. The secondary characters were just as fun and interesting, especially Sorin. I want good things for him b/ c he's loyal and has potential to be a yummy guy. And the main characters were fabulous. In truth, there were times when I wanted Jen to be a little more serious, but still, she was funny.
Court of Fives
By Kate Elliott
It is soooooo good! I devoured it from start to finish. The main character, Jes, is a patron who sneaks out when her dad isn't home to train for a complicated athletic game called The Fives. The very day that she is entered in the competition, her dad comes home and anounces that she and her sisters are going to watch The Fives with him. Jes is a very adventurous and not affectionate character who cares deeply for her family and possible enemy Lord Kalliarkos. There is a pinch of romance, a dash if creepiness, and a whole load of danger. I would recommend this book for middle or high schoolers who can stomach the mom birthing a baby near the end (there weren't a whole lot of details, so it was fine). I loved this book and I'm sure that you will, too.
My Fair Godmother
By Janette Rallison
What an amazing and MAGICAL book! I simply LOVED it! When Jane sees that her little sister, Savannah is dating Hunter, she simply MUST have him. From there on it's pretty simple, Hunter breaks up with Savannah to be with Jane and Savannah wants revenge, not only for dumping her, but, also for trying to set her up with another boy. So, Savannah meets Chrissy, her fair godmother who's allowed to grant Savannah 3 wishes. Be prepared to hang on for a LONG, BUMPY, FAIR ride!
Ranger’s Apprentice: The Lost Stories
By John Flanagan
THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES! I cannot show how much enthusiasm I have for this book and all the other Ranger's Apprentice! Book 10 and 11 are really good, but the ending (at least, near end) of Book 11 is so sad!!! I downed the last half of the book last night, waiting impatiently for the Book 12 to arrive at my door. I finished crying, laughing, ripping out the carpet and wanting more. The humor is unfailing, as usual! John Flanagan is an excellent writer and I'm still unsure, as an 8th Grader, why the reading level is 3-6! It should be higher, as I still have to look up some words that he uses! I'll have to die before tomorrow when Book 12 arrives, because I simply can't spend another night staring at the wall and crying that I'm not sitting with a drink and a Ranger's Apprentice in my hand!!! I NEED BOOK 12 NOW! A Tolkien worthy piece!! (Well, that's a little too much credit. A NEAR Tolkien worthy piece!)
