The Sun Is Also a Star Movie Tie-in Edition
By Nicola Yoon
This book is absolutely... BEAUTIFUL. Daniel, a Korean-American high school senior, meets Natasha, a Jamaican-American of the same age, and immediately falls in love with her, believing they were brought together by fate. At the same time, though, Natasha does not believe in love and fate or destiny, and only believes in science and facts. Also, she is an undocumented immigrant who must be deported that night along with her family. So, will Daniel be able to charm her with his out-going personality, and can Natasha manage to stay in America somehow? Or, will the opposite happen? Read the book to find out!!

Saving Hitler: An Alternate History Book
By Ian James
This is great! It really makes me mad how every book is against Germany okay yes what the nazis did was horrific and inhuman. But not every soldier was part of the nazi party and really most of them where just fighting for survival so it's nice to have some light shone on Germany. You need to know a little about ww2 for this book . So ya acceptable
Milkweed (Random House Reader's Circle)
By Jerry Spinelli
Milkweed is about a young boy who grew up during the terrible time of the Holocaust, into a life of stealing and pilfering. When he is accepted into a gang of boys, he is named Misha, and his job continues; until one day everything changes. Bombs rock the town, Jackboots and their marvelous attire march the streets, and winter closes it's grip on the town. When the Jews are forced into a ghetto, he must steal during dangerous conditions to get food. And when disaster strikes, he must learn to survive on his own. This book was both heart- breaking and humorous; it was both terrible and funny to see the world in innocent little Misha's point of view. What really struck me was the ending, to see Misha struggling with his memories of the past. Like all other books on the Holocaust, Milkweed was (and still is) both sad and inspiring.
Princess Mia (The Princess Diaries, Vol. 9)
By Meg Cabot
Awesome book! All teenagers can totally relate to this sometime in their life. The plot is super intriguing: after a horrible breakup with her boyfriend Michael, Princess Mia is so devastated that she refuses to go to school at all, and instead just lies in bed crying over her sad personal life and eating. At the same time, though, she must speak for a very prestigious, important feminism-supporting gala, and somehow stumbles upon an ancestor's diary, helping her achieve a very big thing: turning Genovia, her country, from a monarchy to a constitutional monarchy. I would definitely recommend this for ages 12+!!!
Mystery of the Dark Lighthouse (Mystic Lighthouse Mysteries)
By Laura E. Williams
I really loved this mystery! I I love how the readers get a chance to figure out the mystery for themselves before the answer is revealed. I recommend this to anybody who loves any sort of mysteries and suspense!
Isabel of the Whales
By Hester Velmans
Isabel has always felt different, like she will one day do something important. But the thing is, she doesn't know what important thing she is going to do. That all ends when Isabel goes on a whale watching trip with her 5th grade class and falls overboard. The whales start tp circle around her and to Isabel's amazement, she can understand them! After learning that she is a Chosen One, a mermaid that is in the form of a whale that is to teach the whales, Isabel is taught many new things, while becoming more and more aware about the dangers, and has many exciting adventures. But when her tail gets infected, Isabel must make a choice that will rip apart she and the whales. Lightly sprinkled withh romance, this book was so enjoyable! But I wish that the author could write a sequel because the ending isn't complete. This book should have won awards but it hasn't which is suprising. I hope you read this because this is a must read.
School Story (Chinese Edition)
By Andrew Clements
I like this book because it shows how kid can do stuff they never thought they would do. I think you would like this book if you would like to know how friendship works and if you would like to be sitting on the edge of your seat.
