This book is so goood!!!!!!! It's the fourth book in the Legend series. It's about Eden and how he like falls into trouble and not even his brother Day can save him, without help of course. If you like suspense, mystery, romance, and tragedy. This is the perfect book for you. 😉 I highly recommend it and the ones before it. #LOVE IT😍😍🥰🥰
The Lord of Opium
By Nancy Farmer
The next installment of the Newberry winning book series; House of the Scorpion, is here, and it's just as good as the original! The lord of opium once follows the adventures of Matt, as El Patron has kicked the bucket, and now Matt, being his clone, is now the new lord of opium. This book is the perfect balance of dystopian fiction, science fiction, and young adult fiction. As I was reading this I was very relieved that Nancy Farmer's exquisite storytelling weaved the loose ends of the last book into a perfect braid of relief. One downside of this book however is that I felt like the climax was a bit rushed, but hey, nothing is completely perfect. This book is a perfect conclusion to, in my opinion, one of the best books of all time, unless... a sequel? Well, probably not, but maybe if I write enough letters, and write enough online reviews, that'll happen.
Thor's Serpents (The Blackwell Pages)
By K. L. Armstrong, Melissa Marr
I've read the first 2 for book club, Loki's Wolves and Odin's Ravens, but I'm super pumped to read this one! Matt is a descendant of the Norse god Thor, and Fen, along with his cousin Laurie, are descendants of Loki. The trio discovers that Ragnarok, the end of the world, is coming. As they go along their quest to save the world, they "find" new descendants. Twins Ray and Reyna, descendants of Frey and Freya, Baldwin, descendant of Balder, and Owen, descendant of Odin. Together, the 7 teenagers must stop the apocalypse, before the apocalypse stops them.
Rogue Knight (Five Kingdoms)
By Brandon Mull
The book is really good because there is a great storyline of how cole and his friends from earth get captured in a haunted house and taken to another dimension where he makes new friends in the 5 kingdoms and has to save his ones from the earth. Right now there is a mysterious person called the rouge knight and he's taking over many cities and towns. So if you like mystery, magic, and adventure this is the book for you.
Forge (Seeds of America)
By Laurie Halse Anderson
I enjoyed reading the book Forge but I’m slightly disappointed too. I recommend this book to everyone who likes historical fiction. This book is about a runaway slave named Curzon and how he struggles to survive during the American Revolutionary War as a soldier. Curzon and the other soldiers at Valley Forge are suffering from the cold and icy winter, hunger, and the constant threat of the British army. With all this to suffer from already, poor Curzon has even more things to worry about. Will he be found by his master? Will this cruel war ever end? But the most important question of all. . . is Isabel alive? Overall, Forge is a thrilling, drama-filled, and slightly romantic book that really focuses on the difficulties of soldiers and slaves during the American Revolutionary War. The book has a good plot and a lot of plot twists and it’s the kind of book you would read while curled in a warm blanket with a cup of hot cocoa. I liked the way that you can understand how life was during the American Revolutionary War. The only thing that disappoints me is that the author seemed to drag out the story, and the ending was too predictable.
The Face on the Milk Carton
By Caroline B. Cooney
3/10, not an amazing book the plot was pretty run on it was more romance than mystery. But the book is not completely terrible. The chapters are pretty long so if you like the chapters to be a little short this is not the book for you. But the background story is great, a teenager named Janie thinks her parents aren't her real parents and decides to investigate does she find out the truth or left curious. Trust me that wasn't even off the back of the book I just like sounding like one of those fancy people sometimes. Overall don't think the book is for everyone.
