I read this after falling in love with the character Bree Tanner in Eclipse. I counted down the days until its release and read it the day it was. The short story of Bree and Diego is soo tounching!

This is a really really great book. How To Catch a Bogle follows Birdie, a 10 year old orphan, is taken in by Alfred, a "bogler", or killer of bogles. He calls it "getting rid of pests". Bogles are monsters. Birdie's job is very dangerous, just one wrong move and she could be killed. But she gets by, and she knows she's better off than being a beggar or a "tosher" who roams the sewers. Then she's offered another life, a life as a singer with Miss Eames. Birdie is torn. I really enjoyed this book. I thought it was well put together, it hooks you in right from the start. It has adventure, drama, and even some glamor and romance. Something I loved about this book was how it makes you feel. It makes you feels Birdie's frustration or anger, it makes you understand how she feels. The only negative thing about this book is it contains some mild language and drinking, also it be frightening for young children. I'd reccommend it for 10 +. Happy reading!

Although it does drag on in the first 5-6 chapters, "Space Rocks" is a hilarious, grasping read with incredible plot twists. Chorkle is part of the Xotonian race living in Gelo, an asteroid that, until a couple of months ago, has never been invaded by anyone, let alone humans. When Chorkle spots some human offspring in Jehe Canyon, little does he know that these four little fur-heads would change Xotonian history forever. Within the next few months, he accidentally causes their mothership to have an emergency take-off (all because of Feeney’s Original Astronaut Ice Cream!) and the four little two-eyed humans are left stranded on Gelo. Chorkle tries to help them out...but what would you do if a five-eyed alien who deserted you in space offers his guidance? On an epic attempt of survival, Chorkle leads Becky, a bossy twelve-year-old who hates Chorkle the moment she lays her eyes on him; Nicky, Becky's identical twin who's obsessed with fungi (although she does have her ways with computers); Hollins, a thirteen-year-old boy who doesn't stop quoting Teddy Roosevelt; and Little Gus, who is simply awesomeness wrapped up in a ten-year-old. With Chorkle's help, these four find a way to keep breathing their beloved oxygen, fight ferocious thyss cats, and hide from the rest of the Xotonians who would surely imprison them if they were to find them. On top of all that, they eventually become oog-ball legends, go to the top of Dynusk’s Column, and even get to ride Usk Lizards!

Warning this review may contain spoilers! Ophelia finds this magical boy locked inside a room in a museum and agrees to help him with magical a quest. What I thought of it: Well, I read it awhile ago so I don't remember it very well. I do remember that everything that was supposed to be a "secret' or what not was pretty obvious. I knew from the start that the museum lady was the Snow Queen. I also figured that Ophelia was the special person (I can't remember the name they used at this exact moment). Also, I quickly figured out that Alice was going to be put into the machine. So yeah, everything was obvious. Also Ophelia was just plain annoying. She just went around saying that she didn't believe in magic because she was too smart to believe in magic. Well honestly, she wasn't that smart. She just came off as snotty. And she was boring too. The author tried to make her seem quirky and what not, but all that she did was take her inhaler. She literally took it like 4 times a day. The author must of not done much research because once you take your inhaler, you're supposed to wait 4 to 6 hours before taking it again. And this book wasn't very well written. Also, I was disappointed that we never learned the Marvelous Boy's name. Overall, it was boring and predicable. I've read a lot of books that were just like it.

This book is about 2 kids, Ben and Pearl, trying to catch a sasquatch that was being treated for foot fungus at Dr. Woo's worm hospital. But the worm hospital is not only for worms, but also for creatures from the Imaginary World. When Ben finds himself going to his grandpa's house for the summer in Buttonville so his parents could sort things out, Ben was not the happiest man on earth. But Buttonville was more exciting than he thought. He befriends Pearl Petal, a girl who lives in Buttonville. One day, his grandpa's cat drops a baby dragon on Ben's bed. And that's how it all started.

Wow! my birthday is next week and this is the book I want! The summary looks awesome and I have already read the first one and I love the author!

Miri and Molly live in a family of 8.Three sets of twins (including Miri and Molly),and a dad and a mom.The Gill family,but there wasn't always 3 sets of twins.There was just Robbie and Ray,Nell and Nora,and Miri who was the middle child without a twin.One day magic happened to Miri and she went back in time,and rescued Molly from her mean 1935 family.Things have been going good for the two girls Miri and Molly.Everyone thought they where twins sense day 1 and no one thought differently,but one day while there playing with there camera there grandma gave them and there new kitten.The house that is being fixed up (or porch) takes them back in time,all the way back to 1918.The magic only takes them back in time to fix things.When they arrive there they meet a 17 year old girl who Molly acts really rude towards the girl. Miri's never seen Molly act so rude so she has to step up and be nice to the girl to cover for Moll's rudeness.Afterwards when they leave Miri begs Molly to tell her why she was acting so rude (which is unlikely of Molly),and Molly tells her.Is this seventeen year old girl the reason the magic took them back in time?Will Miri stay with this girl if she doesn't die?Will everything change after meeting her?I'll let you be the judge of those questions ;).Also I strongly recommend this book to anyone.It's very interesting,fun,and it's filled with mystery's that will have you questioning many things.

Robbie Darko wants to be a world-famous magician. He has done several acts, some of them in the talent show, but they haven’t always turned out so great. Today is his mom’s birthday and he wants to do a special magic trick for her-pulling the tablecloth out from under the china set on the table. A few days after the bad turnout of the trick, Grandma Melvin, Robbie’s grandma, offers to teach him magic lessons. With the talent show coming close, will Grandma Melvin help him? Or will she just sit and watch The Wheel Of Fortune while she is laughing at him? In a enjoyable and magical story, Beaty keeps fans cheering for her and Robbie until the very last page. My thoughts: I really loved this book. The cover is pretty awesome and you want to know something weird? The first time I saw the cover I thought the rabbit was a grandma. Call me crazy, but I promise you. I loved all the magic in this story; Robbie Darko is trying so hard to end his years at Elementary School with a bang, so he can be remembered there for years to come. The grandma is so crazy; in a good way. She thinks that the “zoysia grass is attacking her” and yells at the TV. She is such a character, and was written very skillfully. The added bits of humor in this Middle-Grade story were wonderful, and I think I will check out more books by Andrea Beaty.

This book is absolutely amazing. You actually learn a little about how life was centuries ago while indulging in some great fantasy writing. If you like the dark ages and you like unicorns than you will love this book.
