Kids Books - Fantasy

I recommend this book and this series to almost anyone, it is a quick read, but still really interesting. Last year my book club and I Skyped with this author. Check it out!!

This book is really funny. A video game takes over a town and I read it pretty fast. I love Caleb and Freddy. I like video games so that made this book even more fun.

Tales of Sasha is about a horse that can fly and I liked this book because its funny. I like Sasha because she's brave

This book is so amazing. Mila and Hunter are on the run from Holland and the Vita Obscura, all the while, Hunter being completely oblivious to the fact that Mila is an android and his parents work for the Vita Obscura. When discovering all this, he recoils and begins to lose his trust in Mila. The Vita Obscura find Mila and remove her emotions chip. Mila looses all emotion except anger and hatred. Under Quinn's order, Mila shoots Hunter's stepdad, further loosing Hunter's trust. Lucas, her forever faithful friend swoops in last minute and restores the emotional chip that was removed. She attempts a mistake only to be tased and deserted in a desert. Lucas retrieves her there and fills her in about the bomb that was planted in her. Mila and Lucas then begin a journey on their own, develop a love for each other, and bring Holland to his justice. Read MILA 2.0, Redemption, for the next book. IT IS AMAZING!!! GO Mila and Lucas! Mila 2.0 is definitely one of my absolute fave books. The cover and the blurb alone had me sold, but the book just had so much suspense and action, that it is a must read. the storyline is wonderful, with so many unexpected plot twists and turns. I love all the android stuff; it’s just so cool to think of someone being replicated perfectly by the military, created stronger than a normal person with accuracy, awesome reflexes, built-in GPS; I mean, how cool is that? This book will leave fans of science fiction and thrillers begging for more. Debra Driza gives this series a kickstart and puts everything she has into her debut.

I really enjoyed this book, lots of action, strong female characters and it held your attention.

The second book in the Savvy series, Ingrid mixes old and beloved characters up with fresh, new ones. Ledger Kale, our Savvy star in Scumble, dreams that he'll be fast. Not just run-around-the-block-in-five-minutes fast, but run-around-the-WORLD-in-five-seconds fast. Or at least, that's what his dad wants. But instead of the supersonic speed Savvy Ledge has been fantasizing he'll get on his thirteenth birthday, he can wreck ANYTHING man-made. He's a human sledgehammer. To make matters worse, his family decides to attend a family wedding in Wyoming. He ends up staying in Wyoming in hopes that he'll learn to Scumble his Savvy before the summer ends. With Grandma Dollop's special peanut butter jar stolen, a nosy reporter named Sarah Jane snooping around and coming dangerously close to discovering well-kept family secrets, a busted up motorcycle, and screws flying, what could go wrong? I really loved Scumble; it was a page-turner. With no shortage of messes and magic, it really packs a punch of charm and kept me glued to the pages, unable to look away, as if Sarah Jane had written it herself. I recommend this to all fans of the first Savvy book, this one is even better than the first!

This is a really funny book about Sami fish-sitting Frankie, but she has to keep him away from Fang, Mark's evil vampire kitten. It is funnier than the other My Big Fat Zombie Goldfish books. This is a tie-in to that series. It has nice illustrations throughout and it is a picture book. I would recommend this book.
