West by Edith Pattou is the second book that comes after the amazing East book. I really enjoyed both of these books and this one especially was just so untterly incredible! I loved the adventure, the courage that the main character, Rose, showed, the excitement, the love and the beauty of the whole story all together. I would totally recommend it to anyone who loves amazing stories about journies into the unknown!

West of the Moon by Margi Preus is a really good book that is sort of a play on the folktale "East of the Sun, West of the Moon." It is about two girls who try to run away from their evil goatman master. It's really amazing and I really liked reading it. "I want to do what's right. Rolling Thunder is a nice book that honors the military service. A boy is going to a memorial that honors the dead military people, and for the boy it is his grandpa. This is a nice book that teaches us to respect the military service and honor them.

There is a boy that is playing on the beach- and stops when he sees something- a pirate ship. He tries to inform his parents, but they do not listen. The boy goes back to working on the sandcastle and the pirates look at him. They take him because they think he is a good digger, and he learns how to be a pirate.

If you LOVE the princesses then this is YOUR kind of book.In this book there is all kinds of pets that are just right for the princesses! The pets at first are lonely in the woods (your probably thinking o h no!). But if you want to know what happens NEXT then your going to have to read the book to find out :)

Mary Alice and Joe thought they where going to have a normal summer with their perfectly normal grandmother. Wrong. So wrong. There grandma might as well be the craziest grandma anyone could ever have. And the kindest. And the funniest. And the trickiest. Although Mary Alice and Joe are a long way from Chicago everything is going to be okay as they learn important lessons and make friends. My brothers and I laughed so much when we read this book for school. It is really funny.

this is an awesome series about a girl named Winnie who guides readers from when she was just 10, all the way through when the turned 14. At first, Winnie is a outgoing girl who doesn't want to grow up but has a best friend who is growing up too fast. i would recommend this book to girls ages 8-11. If you read this book once, it will stay with you for a long time. Shine on, Lauren Myracle!

So I rated this book 3.5 stars. Don't get me wrong, this is a REALLY good book but I USED to be in LOVE with fantasy novels. Now I'm kind of a little older and I've been reading less Middle Reader Fantasy (this is the first fantasy novel that I've read in like, a year), and more Young Adult novels. I read this book like a month ago, but I decided not to read the whole series (which I have never done before, I always finish a book series) because I'm kind of growing out of the Fantasy genre. I kind of got bored with the characters, only because the somewhat stereotypical "three abandoned orphans" plot is overused a lot. I really liked how Gabriel and the Empress were described. The Empress was really ruthless, and it definitely showed throughout the book. Gabriel wasn't your typical strong hero that comes out of nowhere, his personality and emotions were really raw a well-plotted. This book kind of reminded me of the Narnia series because it was so full of adventure and magic. The pacing of the book was absolutely on point, which I loved. Anyway, I thought this book was a little bit over average, I know that people younger than me would enjoy it. There's a lot of really awesome elements like dwarves, a mysterious book, giants, and other mythical creatures. I would recommend this to the 9-11 year old range.

I loved this book even more than the Year of the dog! What I liked about " The year of the Rat" so much was the stories that Grace's Mom and Dad told her, and I also liked reading about the food in the book. I would totally try some of that. Here are some of the foods mentioned in the book: Red- Brown Roasted Duck, Light Pink dumplings, golden pan-fried fish, and shrimp, to name a few. It made my mouth water and stomach growl!

I really like this book because the boy tells you how he feels and why, also iv'e watched the film and it's great and I've got the other David Walliams books to there funny especially Mr. Stink Can't wait to leave my review when iv'e read the rest of the book...
