Carly is not your typical 11-year-old girl. she sleeps during the day unwillingly and awakens at night. in a little town called Whistle Root, vegetables are mysteriously left on people's roofs and music is heart at night. she awakens one night to meet a rat that soon leads her on a mysterious adventure that teaches carly about friendship, magic, and family. Personally, it's an okay story, but a little childish. It's definitely written from a unique perspective and is a story that is unusual. If you like books like Dork Diaries and A Wrinkle in Time, you'll probably like The Mysterious Woods of Whistle Root.

I like it, but at some times it gets a little bit boring, But ths just might be my sense of reading, I reccomend it to anyone who likes dogs.

This book is a great book. It is about tornados. It tells you that they are very dangerous. Also it tells you that you should stay on low ground if you see a tornado. I think that this book helps me learn a lot about this dangerous thing. Even though they are dangerous they are very fun to look at. That is a little bit about this book.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow a new book again by the land of stories I wonder what this book is about but I think it is about the finally going to end this looks really interesting I will ask to borrow form my friends see ya

I am in 6th grade going into 7th and I still like this book! It is a good intro to cartooning, and it was funny as well. There is also a Christmas version of this book, and it is slightly different from the original. I would recommend both to kids aged 6 - 12.

Im still reading the book, im not done yet, but so far i love it. I cant tell how its going to end and i like that in a book! Its really great so far, im hoping it doesnt take a turn for the worse...
