Kids Books - Detectives

This series is all about 8 sisters trying to find there missing parents the night before christmas when there dad disappeared while going to get fire wood and the mom (the inventor) disappeared while going to the kitchen . Then they get a note saying that each of the sisters have a power and a gift it goes in order of age!So the kids need to find there parents, i love how during the adventure they have some fun but also have some like the wicket ( She is there neighbor that wants to steel a top secret folder from the mom) and lots of other enemies!

The Swallow I am reading The Swallow by Charis Cotter, it is a fantastic fiction book. This book is about two girls named Polly Laise and Winnifred Rose McPherson. Polly wants to see ghost badly but rose is different she wants to stop seeing ghost because she is bewitched. When the two of them met in their attics, they said to meet at the cemetery to see each other. Then They met each other at the cemetery, Rose told Polly to run because the ghost were coming to scare them, but suddenly Rose fell on a grave that had her name on it,“ Winnifred Rose McPherson.” They had to find out why Rose’s name was on the grave. They asked everyone, especially Kendrick, Rose’s nanny and she told about the other Winnifred Rose McPherson. I think this book is a fantastic fiction book because it is very detailed I think that because Chris Cotter really explained why they were there, and etc. I recommend this book to ages 9 - 11 because there are some hard words that some kids would not understand. Do you think that Rose and Polly will find out why Rose’s name was on the grave??

Eel a 13-year old boy spends most of his time on a river catching and selling fishes because he lives and an orphan with his brother and he gets hunted by Fisheye Bill Tyler (eel's stepfather). Eel has been having a rough time throughout his adventure to to prove Dr.Snow's theory about a deadly cholera. But, eel can't stay even in Snow's shed to seek shelter during nighttime. The only thing eel cares about is getting some help from Dr.JohnSnow and getting Dr.JohnSnow's theory through the neighborhood in order to save everybody from dying. Also, eel needed to make money so he decided to go out and find a job while he lets Mrs.Miggles take care of his little brother. My favorite part of the book is when eel has to make money in order to buy clothes, food and more items for him and his brother, so he left to find a job and trusts Mrs.Miggles to take care of eel's little brother. I personally recommend this book to anyone who likes mystery books, and historical fiction books. Although, there are some parts in the book where you wouldn't want to read this book in the dark. But overall, this book is truly amazing and i urge you to read it!

Our class is loving this book: It's suspense, its unfolding drama, its utter creepiness. When I read it on the carpet the other day, the kids got so scared they gathered around closer to my feet for comfort!

I like when Pearl takes the Leprechaun's gold because she thinks he's trying to persuade her to give it back. He keeps saying that his magic plugged that's why he is at the hospital.

this is a book that everyone should read its really good it about how there's a lemonade war between Evan and his sister because they had a fight and then Evan friend and Eniemie takes the money that they earned that is what happend in the lemonade war the first book the second book is that Scott the guy who stole the money bought this really exspensive xbox and he lies when someone asked him if he stole the money and bought the Xbox and then the story goes and he stills it and then the story goes threwout the story its a really good story I recommend this book and series.

Okay, this book is amazing! Georgie's sister, Agatha, runs away when Georgie blurts out something she shouldn't. A couple days later, an unidentifiable body wearing Agatha's dress is found. Georgie refuses to believe Agatha is dead, and sets out on a journey to find her, along with an unexpected companion. Great book!

I have read many AG mysteries, and this one is one of my top 3. It has everything a mystery needs: action, creepiness, and a ton of heart. It is a great book for anyone who likes a mystery that the author took a lot of passion in writing.

this book is about a girl that moves to a new house and she finds a dollhouse that looks exactly like the new house. when she looks through the windows of the doll house she sees the past. she sees what happened in the house. she has many different adventure throughout the story. it is a really good book i hope you get the chance to read it.

What I thought of it: I didn't like it. The main character was annoying. He was supposed to be "smart" but he didn't even know what some simple words meant. The girl was also annoying.The writing was poor. I was extremely disappointed.
