This book is about a girl named Janie who ends up having 3 husbands and got married at sixteen because her grandmother forced her. I decided to read this book because my sister recommended it to me and I actually liked it. Its interesting and has good conflicts not that its all about conflicts. I would recommend this book because its a book where you can read nonstop. However I recommend this book to a teenage girl because it has a good theme/message to it.

wow this is one of the greatest books of all time. even though I'm a 6th grader, I get the message that violence isn't always good

I like the one when this girl is super poor and she sells her gold locket with donald's hair so the children can get christmas presents

i read this book for my grade 7 novel study assignment. i thought this book was slow at first but it gets interesting towards the middle and the end. if you are a fantasy book fan, i recommend this book to you.

You should read this book it teaches you a lesson about if you don't do the work you don't get the reward that's the like an example if I bake a cake and you don't help I will eat all the cake my self because you didn't help
