Mansfield Park (Gift Classics)
By Jane Austen
This book is a true classic. Fanny Price takes a trip to live with her wealthy cousins , she is poor unlike them. Edmund Bertram is a kind cousin that offers to give Fanny paper to write to her brother. There is also Julia and Maria, Mrs. Norris, unkind to Fanny, Sir Thomas Bertram, and Henry and Mary Crawford. Edmund is greatly into Mary, Fanny feeling that she gets less attention feels more lonely. Eventually the Crawfords true colors come out wide into the open. Will Fanny ever gain love from Edmund and will Edmund love her again? Also, Maria running off with Henry....she is now disgraced. Sir Thomas is kind and cold to her, however in the end he shows his faith in her. This story is a wide entangle of romance, jealousy, duty, and challenge all mixed in to express each character purely and showing their true colors.
Persuasion (Jane Austen)
By Jane Austen
Amazing how this book could effect a heart, shattering love and building it again. Anne Elliot was deeply in love with Captain Wentworth. However, her father Sir Walter declined this and broke their relationship apart, Since then eight years has passed and Anne has heard of Captain Wentworth again and has been told that he is a wealthy man. Will Louisa marry the Captain or will Anne get to her first? A letter Captain Wentworth writes to Anne changes this. Anne and Captain make up and marry, will they get to forgive Lady Russell? This is a truly interesting book.

Harold and the Purple Crayon
By Crockett Johnson
A good book with a great imagination. Harold and his trusted purple crayon takes him on an imaginative adventure by moonlight. He draws his own adventure and even manages to scare himself! I enjoyed sharing one of my favorite books with my cousins.
A Girl of The Limberlost
By Gene Stratton Porter
I thought I should read something new and it is an Indiana classic.
A Fine White Dust
By Cynthia Rylant
So... this book was super weird and the pace just sucked. I felt like there were too many unanswered questions in the end which made it super confusing. I would NOT recommend this.
The Landry News
undefined
When Cara Landry discovers that Mr. Larson, her worst teacher that does not want to teach them anymore, once won multiple best teacher of the year rewards before, she starts a newspaper that badmouths him. But after nearly costing him her job, Cara learns an important lesson. So I have a little backstory. I read this book a really long time ago but then I decided to reread it, which refreshed my memories of what happened.... After I finished this, I thought like, maybe I can start my own newspaper agency. I presented the idea to my friends, who were a little uneasy at first, then agreed to it. Since I was homeschooled, my only option to release it was at church. There we left it in the rooms, because we wanted to keep our identity a secret. Many people liked it, so we, or rather I, worked on it. I had teamed up with a no k-pop group because that time I was against it and our next issue was about how Kpop was bad... stuff like that, and many people were unhappy with that issue so they told us to stop and never write any issues again. I had already planned another issue but that one was never released. So the newspaper fad, caused by this book, ended, and so started many other fads. Now I am neutral about Kpop and we don't have a fad right now but that memory was really exciting and fun to refresh by reading this book again.

Misty's Twilight
By Marguerite Henry
This book, titled Misty's Twilight, is a very good and classic book by a famed author named Marguerite Henry. This story takes place after Misty has died, many years after the book before it. A doctor named Sandy has had a lifelong dream to see the horses on Chincoteague. When she finally takes her dream vacation, (with her children) they end up taking home four little Chincoteague ponies, one of which a direct descendant of Misty of Chincoteague. She then breeds with a great stallion, and the foal, a filly, is named Twilight. She is good at everything she does, but the question is, good enough? Find out if her future is to be a cutting horse, a jumper, or a competitor in the fine art of dressage. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes horses and classic books.
