Georgie Blake and the Bushie Sisters
By Miriam Nesset
How would you describe this book to someone that is curious about reading it? This book is about a kid named Martha Miller who, before her 8th birthday, named herself Georgie Blake. She has a friend named Harriet Ann, and they go on adventures together. Harriet Ann has three older brothers, and the brothers always get in trouble and play pranks. This book also had three sisters without parents who are very nice to Georgie and Harriet Ann. When they find a boxcar in the woods, it opens up a whole new world for them. What is the climax or rising action of this reading? How does it shape the tone? Do you think this reading should be made into a film? Why or why not? The most exciting part was when Harriet Ann and Georgie Blake find a boxcar in the woods. They have such cool adventures, and finding that boxcar was really not expected. Yes, because it has lots of exciting parts, though none of the parts would need special effects, and that isn't a big thing, just that special effects are cool. How can you change one component of this reading to make it more enticing? I could change... actually, this is such an entertaining book, I don't think anything is needed, or anything taken away. If you were asked to read this to an audience, who would benefit from hearing this selection? Why? 9 and up, because there are some harder words.

Quinny & Hopper
By Adriana Brad Schanen
Quinny is an active, loud girl. Hopper is a shy, timid boy. Quinny has two, younger annoying sisters. Hopper has two, older annoying brothers. They become friends who do fun things together. But third grade is coming, and tearing them apart. They are done with each other. But somehow they land on top. Quinny becomes popular because of her bookbag's awesome picture of her. Hopper becomes popular because he is the fastest kid in the class. And they end up friends in the end. On a personal note: I like how two opposites attracted in a realistic third-grade setting.
Girl Online
By Zoe Sugg
This book is really good for teenage girls. I don't even like zoella as a YouTuber, but I am a teenage girl and I found this book extraordinary. A lot of times it seemed like a professional author wrote it! "Girl Online" Is a twist on YouTuber novels. Zoe Sugg writes about a girl named Penny, who hides her personal feelings from her loved ones by sharing them with her following on her blog. She keeps her personality secret with a pen name, "Girl Online," hence the title of the book. Penny leaves all of her drama to go on a short trip to New York City, out of her country, where she meets her "Inciting incident," Noah. But when Penny returns, she figures out a big secret about Noah that ruins most of her life, including her online persona. I would for sure rate this book 5 out of 5 stars, and it's a great book for the adolescent Teenager demographic.

Poptropica: The Official Guide
By Tracey West
Ahem. I hereby declare this book as a tribute to my outrageous and obnoxious sibling, who is obsessed with video games but very dear to me. The book has guided me in the conquest of many islands and has proved useful in achieving many medallions. My only regret is that at times the description doesn't suffice as visual motion does, and that it is not updated like the complicated pieces of machinery of today. Cheers to Poptropica and this island guide! Hurrah! Hurrah! Hurrah!
