The Ghost's Grave

The Ghost's Grave

By Peg Kehret

This is a really good book. Peg Kehret writes lots of good mystery books. This one was about a boy who gets sent to his 90 year old aunt he hasn't ever met before because his parents have to go to India for business. He meets a Ghost named Willie. Willie asked him to dig up his leg bones and bury them with the rest of his body. He discovers a metal safe, when he finally gets it open it has 130,000 in it that was stolen from a long time ago. The guy who stole it then came and put him at gunpoint once he found out he had it. Josh stalled him until the police came. Josh was a hero because the money was for an animal shelter. His dreams of being on a baseball team that summer also came true because Muriel's grandson's team needed an outfielder.

Great start to the book! It starts with a rich boy named Mitty who must do a science project on a virus. Then he gets symptoms of what he thinks is smallpox...

Ever since Pig's father died, Pig has been taking care of the dam, to keep the dangerous fog back from Pig's town. No one knows his important job except for fox and Hippo. But Pig has been starting to notice strange changes in the fog's patterns. Then one day the fog comes so hard it rams the dam and it breaks. Pig, Fox, and Hippo and whisked away and try to find there way home but discover the dangers of the outside world. I would recommend this for ages 9+ I thought it was a little haunting but still cute. This is probably my favorite graphic novel and I would definitely recommend this because this is a must read.

Starring Jules #2: Starring Jules (in drama-rama)

Starring Jules #2: Starring Jules (in drama-rama)

By Beth Ain

Jules lands a role on a new TV show! But, she is stuck on choosing between participating in her class moving-up ceremony and shooting a sitcom. And that isn't all of the drama she has! Jules is trying to make her quiet best friend Elinore to hoot and holler as her secret project, and her ex-best friend might be moving. Jules may need a little bit of nerve and a lot of pizzazz if she wants to survive the very last month of second grade without transforming into a drama queen!

The Dragon with a Chocolate Heart

The Dragon with a Chocolate Heart

By Stephanie Burgis

Adventurine has always wanted to explore the world beyond her family's mountain cave. But, as a young dragon, her tough scales aren't fully developed yet, and her family says that the world beyond is too perilous for her. So Adventurine is determined to fly out on her own and prove her family wrong by catching the most dangerous prey of all, a human. But when the human she is hunting tricks her into drinking enchanted hot chocolate, Adventurine transforms into a puny human girl. No more sharp teeth, no more fire breath, and no more claws. She might have transformed into a puny human, but she has found her true passion, chocolate. Now all she has to do is to get into a human city and find herself an apprenticeship in a chocolate house, and she will be conquering new territory in no time, won't she? I LOVED this book! Another of my all time favorite books! I loved Aventurine's adventure and her friend Silke's personality. I would recommend this book for anyone that likes the book The Whiz Pop Chocolate Shop.

Sisters

Sisters

By David McPhail

This book is probably the book that means the most to me. My sister gave it to me about 4 years ago and it means the world to me. The book is about two sisters (one older one younger) who are different in many ways but also the same in many ways. When you have a sister, it's more then that, it's having a best friend you can tell anything to and not feel like you'll be judged. That's what this book is like in my opinion. I recommend this to sisters everywhere ♥♥♥ Thanks for reading -Ajg16's reviews
