Gaia Girls: Way of the Water is the second book in the Gaia Girls Series. This book is so utterly amazing and is so inspiring to ANYONE who reads it. Gaia Girls: Enter The Earth

Gaia Girls: Enter The Earth

By Lee Welles

Gaia Girls: Enter the Earth is the first book is the Gaia Girls Series and is so fantastic and wondering. It is about a girl's fight to make sure that her farm isn't torn apart by machines to become a mall. This book inspires environmental stewardship, but overall it just inspires everything: bravery, kindness, perseverance and friendship. I would totally reccomend this book.

Stella by Starlight

Stella by Starlight

By Sharon M. Draper

Stella by Starlight by Sharon M. Draper is about a girl named Stella and her journey as a young black girl in town inhabited by the KKK. She has to always be wary, on edge, and faces many hardships and unjust events. Throughout she remains strong and helps support her family through the tough times. I really liked reading this book even though it made me sad to think that this rascism still happens today. It made me wish that everyone could just accept each other and hold each other up like they do in this book. I would reccomend it to lovers of great historical fiction.

Turn Homeward, Hannalee

Turn Homeward, Hannalee

By Patricia Beatty

nac

This book, based on a true story, takes place during the civil war, when a bunch of mill workers, young and old, are taken from a southern mill, and shipped of to Georgia. The main character, Hannalee, promised her mother she would return. And so we follow Hannalee on an amazing journey as she gets bound as a servant, escapes and flees to find her brother, Jem. together, Hannalee and Jem travel back to their home. This story was touching, and showed the unfair treatment of the mill workers taken from their homes, I found it very memorable.

Dumbo Live Action Novelization

Dumbo Live Action Novelization

By Kari Sutherland

I just watched this movie again recently. This book is based on the movies. It is very saddening but also joyful. The cartoon is sadly less known or talked about along with Pinocchio. This is the same thing for the live action and Cinderella live action .

West

West

By Edith Pattou

West by Edith Pattou is the second book that comes after the amazing East book. I really enjoyed both of these books and this one especially was just so untterly incredible! I loved the adventure, the courage that the main character, Rose, showed, the excitement, the love and the beauty of the whole story all together. I would totally recommend it to anyone who loves amazing stories about journies into the unknown!

West of the Moon

West of the Moon

By Margi Preus

West of the Moon by Margi Preus is a really good book that is sort of a play on the folktale "East of the Sun, West of the Moon." It is about two girls who try to run away from their evil goatman master. It's really amazing and I really liked reading it. "I want to do what's right. But how can I, when I am faced with only impossible choices?” ― Margi Preus, West of the Moon

Pete the Cat and the Perfect Pizza Party

Pete the Cat and the Perfect Pizza Party

By James Dean, Kimberly Dean

This is another good book in the Pete the Cat series. Pete invites his friends for a pizza party, but everyone puts weird things on the pizza that the group does not think will taste good. There are lots of combinations, but when the gang tastes it, it seems like the best pizza ever. This is a good book that shows us all the true taste of friendship and sharing.
