Holes: The Official Movie Scrapbook: Official Movie Companion

By Deborah Kovacs, Karin LeMaire

It gave a good theme to what caveman did and it was not his problem. it was someone else problem.

Boy Meets Squirrels (The Dead Sea Squirrels)

Boy Meets Squirrels (The Dead Sea Squirrels)

By Mike Nawrocki

Second book of the series, not as funny as the first. Much more centered on bullying. It surprised me, because I was bullied and it was hard to understand why someone would do that to another person. My parents helped me through it and this book was a good reference as well. I enjoyed the way the bible is written in to see that it still applies today.

Grump: The (Fairly) True Tale of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves

Grump: The (Fairly) True Tale of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves

By Liesl Shurtliff

Have you ever wondered about the TRUE (well, mostly anyway) story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs? Well, then you've come to the right book! Meet Borlen, aka Grump. He's an odd dwarf, because he was born close to The Surface. That's not normal for the gem-eating dwarfs, because there aren't many valuable gems and minerals up there. Grump is not used to the treacherous depths of dwarfs' mining caverns. And he's always dreamed of going to The Surface and seeing a human!! How cool would that be for a dwarf?! The one risky thing about going to The Surface is that if someone takes a dwarf by the beard, that unlucky dwarf must do their bidding! But Grump doesn't care. He feels like so much of an outcast already, he thought The Surface would be the place where he really felt like home. So, he decides to sneak up to The Surface to see what it was like! Grump quickly befriends Queen E.V.I.L. until she turns on him and Grump meets Snow White! Suddenly, the queen wants to kill Snow with a poison apple because Grump judged Snow fairer than the queen... ringing a bell from the original fairy tale? But what will happen when BOTH the queen AND Snow White take him by the beard? It's a wild ride from there, and Grump becomes more and more puzzled about how to fix the mess he's in... Read this amazing fractured fairy tale for adventure, humor, and more in this fun spin-off of the classic fairy tale Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs! I recommend this for ages 8+ and rate it 4/5 stars :)

Fort Solitude (DC Comics: Secret Hero Society #2)

Fort Solitude (DC Comics: Secret Hero Society #2)

By Derek Fridolfs

I would recommend this book for people who like superheroes, comedy, mystery, and adventure! Clark, Diana, and Bruce are going to camp Evergreen. After a camper goes missing , Bruce gets suspicious that the camp is something else. Soon Diana and Clark agree with him that the camp is up to no good! This book is my favorite book out of the series. Because unlike the other books, this one is the only one that doesn't take place at a school! The thing about this series, is that it doesn't matter what order you read the series, it will still make sense! The stories are different from book to book. The reason why I left one star out of my rating instead of a full five out of five is because, I felt like the author ended it to adbruptly, and could've gone on longer. Overall I think this book was fun and enjoyable!

Titanic: Lost and Found (Step into Reading)

Titanic: Lost and Found (Step into Reading)

By Judy Donnelly

This book is fun to read. My favorite part is when the Carpathia comes to the rescue . I enjoyed this book because it actually happened . This is a nonfiction book . This book is about the Titanic and how it sank in the Atlantic Ocean. This book is cool because it has danger and excitement and it is a part of history.
