I picked up this book randomly, and I wasn't even predicting this would be a good book. Twelve-year-old Lizzie Durango and her dad have always had a zoo to call their home. A typical day for Lizzie would be at the zoo, writing in her notebook about the wolves. Everything was fine until Tyler comes along. Tyler Briggs is a runaway who hides in the zoo. He was hiding behind the elephants' cage until Lizzie found him. He had tried to steal the food of a grandmother and her 2 grandchildren. They soon become friends, and Lizzie lets him stay at her apartment. Lizzie's mother passed away when she was just born. Tyler ran away. Tyler stays there until Lizzie's dad finds out he was there. He says it's not safe for him, but Lizzie says it's fine. They go on a camping trip in Karen's truck. They find out she's behind all the wolves getting sick. They also want to find John Muir's lost cabin. Will they stop her and find John Muir's cabin? I rate this book 5/5 and recommend it to camping lovers.

It really tells a lot about how one little thing,in this case a dog, can completely change you and your life. It also tells a bunch of facts and the vs about the Gobi desert. It is really cool to see this story and friendship take place. I also love that it is a completely true story! Finding Gobi is and will be one of the best books I have ever read!

I really want to read this. I read the first one and LOVED it. You can read it if you go to the Unicorn Quest page! I'm putting library on my to-do list!

The unicorn quest - 3 Stars - Claire & Sophie are two sisters and when there great-aunt Diana dies there parents decide they are all going to stay at there Great-Aunt Diana's mansion for the summer to clean up and go through all the stuff she had collected. When Sophie & Claire discover a ladder in the chimney they decide to explore but when they discover a strange world things change. But is it for the better or was it a bad idea to explore more? Camryn Augustyn 11-13-2020 MCDS 4-19 Language Arts Do you like to dance? Good, because today I am going to be talking about the book Katerina Ballerina by Tiler Peck and Kyle Harris and the illustrator of this book is Sumiti Collina. The book was written in May 2020. I thought the book was well written because it captured all the action and it made me want to keep reading and reading the book! In the story, Katerina Ballerina, Katerina is the main character. The story usually took place at home, school, or ballet. But there is a problem, Katirina’s dad was running low on money to pay for her ballet lessons. When Katirina found out about that she immediately went to town and danced to make some money to pay for her ballet lessons herself, but her dad would not let her. At her ballet there was a show where you could perform a dance that you made up on stage and Katirina decided to do it with her friend, but right before they went on stage her friend got hurt, so Katirina had to do it by herself. What will happen,........SHE WON!!! And she got to take free ballet lessons. Some things that I like most about the book were it captured all the details like what they said, did, and thought. Another thing that I like about the book was there was a problem and it went throughout the story so it made me want to keep reading it to see what would happen next. My last favorite thing about the book is I liked how the story was ordered. This paragraph is going to be my opinion of the characters in the story! The first character that I am going to be talking about is Katirina. In the story, Katrina is the main character,I thought she was a really good character in the story because she told the story really well and had good character traits. The second character is Katirina’s dad. I liked Katirina’s dad as one of the characters because he was nice to Katirina, but he was not one of my favorite characters because he did not have much to say. The next character is Katirina’s friend. Katirina’s friend is one of my favorite characters because she was a good friend and I would love to be her friend. Also the story would be very different without her in it. The last character is Katirina’s dog. The dog is one of my favorite characters because he sounded really cute and friendly in the story, even though they did not really talk about him too much I still think he is an important character. Those are some of my opinions of the characters!!! If you like to dance then this book is definitely for you and I recommend it, because it is a really good story and you will want to keep reading it to see what will happen next! If you do not like dance or are not interested in it then this book is probably not for you because it is about a girl who dances.

This book was kind of mediocre.The main protagonist Sirin is so bad.Remove her from the plot and there would be no tremendous effect to the plot whatsoever.On the other hand Joss and Allie were the best characters in this book.They actually had somewhat of a personality that made you care for them. Lysander was also pretty good.The battle near the end of the book was the best part of the book.It was full of action and suspense that put me on the edge of my seat.Overall this book was okay and it wasn't absolutely horrendous.I would give this book 3 1/2 stars.

This is the best book in the world, but the ending is sad. At least she learns sign language and becomes a vet...

i want to read this book because Chris Van Allsburg makes all his books with mystarys and i love mystarys also he somitmes add a dog named fritz he might hide the dog or the dog is the main charecter.

The author of this book is Elizabeth Cody Kimmel, she mostly write about scary stories, with story that have dogs in it, and girl stories. The different between Kimmel work and other authors works, is that the book is about a ghost dog and other author might write about something different. Tee (everybody in her family and friend call her Tee, that is her nickname, plus her real name is Anita) and Dodie narrate the whole story about the book. Dodie narrated his years ago (flash back, which is italic) story. Tee narrate the present day in the story of this book. The setting take place at Nome, Alaska, in the summer. The genre of this book is mystery, kinda realistic fiction, and maybe a tiny fantasy. The theme (lesson) in the story is trust other people, like your friend and other people that you know. maybe another theme ( lesson) in the story is don't hurry ( take your time, don't rush ) and know what is best for you. I like this book because it is very interesting and exciting, if you read it at night and think about ghost haunting you it, it will make it scary (that is what I feel). What I don't like about this book is that, it is kinda boring at some parts in the story and there is not much characters in the book. I would read more book about the author books because what I really like about this book. I will encourage other people to read this book because they might learn something and might like this book.
