A Dog's Life: The Autobiography Of A Stray

A Dog's Life: The Autobiography Of A Stray

By Ann M Martin, Ann M. Martin

I really like this book because it puts things into a whole new perspective. Instead of writing in third person, the author makes it seem like the dog is an actual human being in a dog's body. The story is altogether a really sweet, cute and touching tale although there were sad parts where Squirrel (the dog) encountered obstacles. This book is really memorable because it's very different from the other dog novels. I also think the whole book is one big metaphor because it tells us about the obstacles in life and how we have to overcome them, so it was very inspirational for me. I totally recommend this book to all animal lovers! A must read!

This book was a thrilling and adventurous story of mischief and betrayal. Hiccup is bullied by Dogs Breath and Snotlout while he is trying to become a pirate. When they find his Great Great Grandpas treasure (the greatest pirate of all Gimberd the Ghastly) it is full of booby traps and on top of that they are betrayed by a someone they trust. Will Hiccup survive? Who betrayed him? IF you want to know you must read the book. I would recommend this book to third graders and above. It has some minor curse words.

Dragonbreath

Dragonbreath

By Ursula Vernon

Dragonbreath is about a dragon called Danny Dragonbreath. Danny need to write a report about ocean, so he go on an adventure with his friend, a iguana called Wendell and his cousin, a sea serpent called Edward. The main characters in the story is Danny, Wendell, and Edward. They are having an adventure and they do the most thing in the story. Danny is not very credible, he always want to do work in last second and he likes adventures. A lot of times I do work at the last second, and my grade is not very good on that. I like this book, there is some comic in the book, it make the book easier to understand and it is more entertaining.
