Zoobreak (Swindle)

Zoobreak (Swindle)

By Gordon Korman

Zoobreak by Gordan Korman This book is a about griffin 'the man with the plan''s friend savanna has her capuchin monkey Cleo stolen from her but when their homeroom class takes a fieldtrip to a zoo/boat hybrid Cleo is found aboard as the man of the plan griffin formulates a plan named zoo break. when their plan succeeds the take the other malnourished animals on savanna's whim and distributed them among their team. on the account that savanna's friend from the zoo is elsewhere, wherein griffin formulates zoo break II, to sneak in the animals into the state zoo. In my opinion it's a good book it just needs more related to the story details the part where they follow through with the plan are kind of short. Realistic yes but not to not to much realism but here was bits and pieces that were unrealistic like owning a capuchin monkey , Griffins hacker sister mellissa , the parts that can happen like Ben's narcolepsy and mr nastase personality that one is very common. The book's main audience is direct towards sixth and seventh graders mostly for the reason it's in large lettering it also makes it easer to read for the visually impaired. External: Man vs society twice in this book griffin says we're just kids in an adult world.

Dinosaurs Before Dark (Magic Tree House)

Dinosaurs Before Dark (Magic Tree House)

By Mary Pope Osborne

I read it several times and I loved it! This book is about two siblings, Jack and Annie. They found a magic tree house which can take them to other times or places. They accidently went to a time when there were dinasours. There are funny parts inside the book. I think it's a bit too easy, so I reccomend it to 5 to 8 years old!

Warriors: Mapleshade's Vengeance (Warriors Novella)

Warriors: Mapleshade's Vengeance (Warriors Novella)

By Erin Hunter

I haven't read the book yet but all I know is that MAPLESHADE'S CRAZY!!!! She is a MANIAC! No wonder her mate chose another mate. She scared Crookedstar to death! ( not really. :) ) She took his wife and two of his kits and his mother away. ( READ CROOKEDSTAR'S PROMISE ) I am not trying to make anyone upset, but she didn't deserve to have a mate or kits, and she was probably jealous because Crookedstar had a better life than her. ( Avoiding his mother abandoning him, and Goosefeather making him end up with a twisted jaw.) Oakheart probably had a way better life than him, he had all of his mother's love and he had his own father as his mentor. Oakheart also had two kits instead of one. Also only one of Oakheart's kits died and Crookedstar lost two of his kits and ended up with Silverstream, a bratty daughter. Oh and don't get me started on Feathertail, she acts like she's so perfect and Crowfeather would love her forever. Bluestar is so much better than both of them.

Unicorn vs. Goblins (Phoebe and Her Unicorn Series Book 3): Another Phoebe and Her Unicorn Adventure

Unicorn vs. Goblins (Phoebe and Her Unicorn Series Book 3): Another Phoebe and Her Unicorn Adventure

By Dana Simpson

I am not the biggest fan of unicorns (no offense to unicorn lovers.) But when I get bored I like to read random books and this book it wasn't like most where they get along and everyone is surprised there is fantasy creature around but both of the main characters make fun of each other in a good way. Sometimes I will actually laugh. There's also the "Shield Of Boringness" and that's why not many people are surprised. I absolutely recommend this for younger age groups or just anyone who likes fantasy and unicorns. I also finished it just today and wrote a review on it almost right away. If you have an Amazon kids tablet you can download and read it)) Read on my friends!!!!

The Trouble with Chickens: A J.J. Tully Mystery (J. J. Tully Mysteries)

The Trouble with Chickens: A J.J. Tully Mystery (J. J. Tully Mysteries)

By Doreen Cronin

This book is about a dog named J.J who met a couple of crazy chickens named Sugar, Dirt, Moosh, Poppy, and Sweetie. One day some of the chicks were missing- Poppy and Sweetie. Moosh ( the mother) found a note that said, " I have your chicks. It behooves you to rendezvous. Twilight. Your place.' J.J couldn't read so he sniffed the note. He caught the scent. Soon he figured out that the other dog, Vince the funnel. Vince looked like a funnel to J.J. They went to the house but J.J dug his claws into the carpet and had a ride all over the house and knocked himself out cold and Vince told the chickens to roll him in. When J.J woke up, he was in Vince's cage. He figured out Vince was supposed to have an ear appointment and get a bigger funnel around his neck, but now that J.J is in the cage, he is going to get a big ear funnel. He can't get out because Vince has the switch to open and close the door. Sugar comes in. J.J thought he put Sugar in the birdbath, and he knows chickens can't fly. Sugar says they can fly to rendezvous with other chickens. J.J knew she was the one who wrote the note. They came up with a plan to get him out of the cage. Moosh helps Vince get his funnel off, but before that, she took the collar off and kicked the collar to Sugar. Then they freed J.J and put Vince in the cage. I really liked this book.

The Tale of Despereaux: Being the Story of a Mouse, a Princess, Some Soup, and a Spool of Thread

The Tale of Despereaux: Being the Story of a Mouse, a Princess, Some Soup, and a Spool of Thread

By Kate DiCamillo

The Tale Of Despereaux is a very heart warming story of a mouse who is not liked by others and is different from a mouse in many ways. When Despereaux continues to not help his brothers and sisters find food and does not do what is is supposed to do, the mouse community decides to put him into the dungeon. When he is put into the dungeon, Despereaux does everything to get out of it. This is also the story of a Princess. I love this book!
