Truly and amazing book! From the moment I picked it up, I couldn't bring myself to put them back down! First and Second book are just amazing! DEFINITELY recommend to EVERYONE!!

This book takes you through the difficulty of being an Olympian and how the ones you love can be the enemy. Susan Carol set a stunning record in the 200 meter butterfly. Next thing she knew was having a chance at the gold. She makes new friends and is having a ball. But then her manager lets his influence control her dad and it turns into a crisis. Great story line I was so into to the characters and story I could never put this book down…. It is romantic and suspenseful.... so if you are 12 or older this is the book for you!!

Awesome book! Everyone's getting a barcode and soon it becomes required. You can't buy groceries. You can't get a job. You can get arrested for not having a bar code tattoo. This is freaky example of what if they controlled every thing.

After I finished That Summer, I said, "Did I miss something here?" This book would be pretty good, but it doesn't seem to have much of a plot. I mean, the characters were great, but there was no problem! The days sort of just counted down until Haven's (the main character) sister got married. I just found the book very uninteresting because there was no conflict or other reason to keep reading. At one point, when Haven reconnected with her sister's old boyfriend, I thought, 'we might have something her.' But no. The writing was great, though, and I look forward to reading other books by Sarah Dessen (and hope they are better).

Great book, the second one is great too!!!! This book DESERVES TO BE READ!!!! I loved Milo, he was my favorite!!! This book is pretty much the same as the story about Helen of Troy but this is about Helen of Sparta!!!!!! The second book is GREAT too!!!!

This is a good book, but very gory at the arena part. I would not recommend this book to anyone younger than 11 years old.
