Mercy on These Teenage Chimps

Mercy on These Teenage Chimps

By Gary Soto

At thirteen years old, best friends Ronnie and Joey suddenly feel like chimps--long armed, big eared, and gangly--and when the coach humiliates Joey in front of a girl, he climbed up a tree and refuses to come down. 3/5🌟 boys would probably like this more then girls but that's my opinion ✌✌✌✌ bye💋

Cosmic

Cosmic

By Frank Cottrell Boyce

Blurb: One small fib for twelve year old Liam Digby .One giant rocket-fulled adventure for mankind. My thoughts: I thought it was a funny, exciting and engaging I didn't want to put it down. Would highly recommend this to any boy or girl from nine plus.

The Thief

The Thief

By Megan Whalen Turner

The book "The Thief" is a interesting story. The main character was a great thief but at the start of the story it he is in jail.Later the magus told him to stole something for the king. The ending of the story is very surprising to me.This background of the main character is very interesting ,too. The father of it is a warrior who wants his son to be a warrior like himself , but instead he became a thief that steal things. It is the total opposite of what his father want him to be.I wonder what will you felt when you are the father of him.

Hang a Thousand Trees with Ribbons: The Story of Phillis Wheatley

Hang a Thousand Trees with Ribbons: The Story of Phillis Wheatley

By Ann Rinaldi

I read this book for my last book report that I did. I think it was a really good book and it was very well written. I liked how the author made it about slaves and how she helped me picture everything that was happening very well while I was reading. I found that there was very good detail and she did a good job incorporating how some of the slaves were treated on the boat. I will definitely be reading more books by Ann Rinaldi in the future.
