A thrilling new series soars above the competition and redefines middle-grade fantasy fiction for a new generation!

The seven dragon tribes have been at war for generations, locked in an endless battle over an ancient, lost treasure. A secret movement called the Talons of Peace is determined to bring an end to the fighting, with the help of a prophecy -- a foretelling that calls for great sacrifice.

Five dragonets are collected to fulfill the prophecy, raised in a hidden cave and enlisted, against their will, to end the terrible war.

But not every dragonet wants a destiny. And when the select five escape their underground captors to look for their original homes, what has been unleashed on the dragon world may be far more than the revolutionary planners intended . . .

This is an amazing book and shows An adventurous story that will impress me any time I read it.I'm definetly looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

This is an amazing book! I saw it at a book fair and decided to buy it. That was probably a really good choice made by me because I absolutely loved the book! I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the books!

Awesome book! 2 thumbs up! 5 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really liked this book. It has all sorts of dragon things. I especially liked it when there was combat and there was some fire.

I was privileged to have a friend lend me this book to read, and quite enjoyed it. The main character, Clay and his friends have been raised in a cave, sheltered from the war raging outside. The five dragonets of prophecy are kept there and strictly trained by members of The Talons of Peace, an organization of dragons bent on putting an end to the long-lasting war. However, Clay and the others don't feel very special- after all, how are a bunch of clumsy misfits who know the world only through textbooks supposed to save it? Join Clay and the others as they break free of the chains that bind them and setting fate on an unprecedented course. This book was pretty good. Though the characters' feelings are not directly told most of the time, they're easy to figure out if you pay attention to how they act. They go through many trials, and grow, and their bonds are tested. The cliffhanger ending rather annoyed me, but other than that, this book is highly recommended!

Is this book good

Even thought i have not seen the wings of fire. it sounds amazing in the name of it

i agree to that

the book is good but i thought it could use more action and describe the setting allot better and describe the feelings better.

It is a good adventure book from the point of dragons, but it starts a little slowly. I like how it shows a dragon's perspective though, not a human's.

i thought it would be like how to train your dragon. it kinda was my dad says it reminded him of game of thrones for kids. it was good if you like dragons. i might read more of them but quest storys arent my favorites
