SHE WILL NOT BREAK

Vega Jane was always told no one could leave the town of Wormwood. She was told there was nothing outside but a forest filled with danger and death. And she always believed it -- until the night she saw Quentin Herms run away.

Vega knows Quentin didn't just leave -- he was chased. And he left behind a trail of clues that point to a dark conspiracy at the heart of Wormwood. To follow the clues will attract the attention of influential people willing to kill to keep their secrets. If Vega wants to stay safe, she just needs to keep her head down and her mouth shut. There's only one problem -- Vega Jane never walks away from a fight.

Master storyteller David Baldacci introduces an unforgettable heroine who must think fast, hit hard, and defy all odds to uncover the truth.

THIS BOOK IS ASTONISHING IT GOES INTO GREAT DETAIL ABOUT LIFE WITH MAGIC INSTEAD OF ELECTRONICS AND HOW ONE GIRL CAN CHANGE THE WORLD IN A SEXIST SOCIETY

It was very interesting. It gave the divergent and hunger games kinda feel . I love how she was independent and was willing to do anything to find out the truth.

I thought that this was a great book. It is about a girl named Vega Jane who lives in the fictional town of Wormwood. She lives in a very interesting society, where being curious is looked down upon and no one ever leaves. Early in the book, Vega finds a map that depicts a world outside of her own with amazing creatures beyond imagination. But to find out about the truth, it may cost Vega her own life. I thought that this book had a great plot, but some of the supporting characters were weak and some parts of the book I felt were unrealistic. Overall, a great book that I would definitely recommend.

I'm a little more than halfway through The Finisher. So far, it's about this girl named Vega Jane who lives in lives in a village called Wormwood which is bordered by what's called the Quag, a dark forest filled with horrid beasts and Outliers. Then a friend of hers go's into the Quag but leaves a map of the Quag and a message for her. Then she slowly discovers that everyone is being lied to in Wormwood, and that there is more to the world. And she tries to find the truth. I'm not planning on finishing it because it's kind of boring and there's almost 500 pages in the book. I don't recommend it.

The Finisher is a captivating book by David Baldacci. The book is about the exciting life of Vega Jane. Vega has lived all of her life in Wormwood. Nothing about Vega's life has been exciting, but one night changed everything. When Vega witnesses her fellow co-worker run into the forbidden Quag, Vega becomes curious. Why would he run? What is really in the Quag? Why is it forbidden?

This is a very adventurous book that has an amazing thrill to it. It was probably the perfect book for me and makes your adrenaline run..... a lot! I definitely recommended this book to so many people out there in the world.

Now THIS is what I call action packed! It is also an AMAZING adventure story, and I really was inspired by it. It was neat, fascinating, and somewhat mysterious. I really liked it, again, and it was just great. Read it!

This book was okay. I would recommend it if you like these kind of books. I could vividly see what was described. I have finished reading it.

This book is very fast-paced although in the beginning it is very boring. I recommend this book for people in grades 6 to 8th. Some parts in the book are violent and might be scary for younger people/

This book is about a young girl who has been taught that her world and community was the only one. Then her mentor runs away, her brother is taken away, her hospitalized parents disappear, and she finds that everything she thought to be true was wrong. Parts of this book are confusing. For example, they have their own language in a way. They use different words, as example, wugs mean people, session means year, and sliver means minute. Because of these new words the story sometimes difficult to understand. However, as you go on it is easier to decipher. I must warn you, at the beginning of the book, the story is a little slow and boring. However, I found that as you go on, the plot becomes fast-paced and very interesting. I would only recommend this story to older kids as there are violent scenes, and moments that would be scary for younger kids.
