The New York Times bestselling The School for Good and Evil is an epic journey into a dazzling new world, where the only way out of a fairy tale is to live through one. Start here to follow Sophie, Agatha, and everyone at school from the beginning!

With her glass slippers and devotion to good deeds, Sophie knows she'll earn top marks at the School for Good and join the ranks of past students like Cinderella, Rapunzel, and Snow White. Meanwhile, Agatha, with her shapeless black frocks and wicked black cat, seems a natural fit for the villains in the School for Evil.

The two girls soon find their fortunes reversed—Sophie's dumped in the School for Evil to take Uglification, Death Curses, and Henchmen Training, while Agatha finds herself in the School for Good, thrust among handsome princes and fair maidens for classes in Princess Etiquette and Animal Communication.

But what if the mistake is actually the first clue to discovering who Sophie and Agatha really are?

I think this book is very good I like it

This looks like a intresting book and l would love to read it. 👍

This was an excellent book. It was not boring or cheesy like other spin -off fair-tales. This one actually kept me reading, and it was amazing. You feel like you know what will happen, but then the book takes a completely different approach that is even more exciting and brilliant. In fiction books, you might not always find a theme, but in this book there was one that was clear and a very important one everyone should remember in their life: Nobody is perfect, purely good, or purely evil. Everybody's got a bright side and their dark side. It's also important to remember that your actions are more important than what and who you are.

I thought the School for Good and Evil would be another one of those cliché fairy-tales-with-a-twist books, but Soman Chainani booted that prejudice out of the ballpark. I give this book five stars overall- I couldn’t stop the pages from turning. Sophie is the perfect “good” girl- beautiful, fashionable, and even does her share of good deeds every day. Then there’s Agatha- the outcast with a dreary atmosphere, makes potions, and even lives in a graveyard. Sophie’s goal is to escape their town to the School for Good and Evil while all Agatha wants is to stay at her graveyard home with Sophie. One day, the School Master kidnaps both Sophie and Agatha and “accidentally” dumps Sophie in the school for evil while Agatha must deal with frilly dresses in the School for Good. It’s obvious that Agatha is good and Sophie is Evil, right? Don’t judge a book by its cover, overcoming prejudices, etc. But I think the real moral of the story is that there is no black and white in the world; nothing can be purely good or purely evil- kind of like the yin and yang symbol. Somehow the author had my head spinning, blurring the lines between good and evil- because despite how horrible Sophie could be, she loved her mother with all her heart. Sophie still managed to make the greatest sacrifice of all for her best friend. So who is good and who is evil?

I really want to read it so badly!!!
