Thirteen-year-old Jonah has always known that he was adopted, and he's never thought it was any big deal. Then he and a new friend, Chip, who's also adoped, begin receiving mysterious letters. The first one says, "You are one of the missing." The second one says, "Beware! They're coming back to get you." Jonah, Chip, and Jonah's sister, Katherine, are plunged into a mystery that involves the FBI, a vast smuggling operation, an airplane that appeared out of nowhere -- and people who seem to appear and disappear at will. The kids discover they are caught in a battle between two opposing forces that want very different things for Jonah and Chip's lives. Do Jonah and Chip have any choice in the matter? And what should they choose when both alternatives are horrifying? With Found, Margaret Peterson Haddix begins a new series that promises to be every bit as suspenseful as her Shadow Children series -- which has sold more than 4 and 1/2 million copies -- and proves her, once again, to be a master of the page-turner.

At first, I thought this book might be boring just because of the cover ( i had a different cover when i got this book), but when i started reading it, i was hooked. It is an awesome book. The author, Margaret Peterson Haddix also created other novels. You should read her books. They are sooo interesting. I think most of you people would like this book.

You should really read this book because it has time traveling and two kids are trying to find there birth parents that are from the future or past.

This was one of the best books I have ever read! I started in school and then I read the rest non-stop at home! It is about 2 boys Chip and Jonah, friend, who are adopted. 13 year old Jonah has never wondered where he came from too much in the past. Until, one day they both get letters that say "You are one of the missing". Then they keep getting more letters. They meet Angela DePre who tells them their past about them being on a plane with 36 babies, including them, and their was no pilot or flight attendants. At the end when you put all the pieces together, it all made perfect sense. Well..... not exactly. You see, Jonah's sister Katherine, Chip and himself are frazzled by all the information that Angela DePre gave them. Not to mention the mysterious time traveling. I really didn't expect the ending! I would HIGHLY recommend this book! I can't wait to read the next one in the series!

I herad thid book is a must read. I read the first chapter and it is totally cool and it makes me want to read iy maybe over the aummer I will read it. It sounds so great

I loved the book. Haddix is the best. I've read most of her books, and I recomend reading The Supernaturalist by her.

Unlike most action adventure books, this one jumps right to the chase. Haddix really knows how to write a good book. The idea is amazing, and it's one of the best books I've ever read. It deserves way more than 5 stars!!!

This author is amazing! All the books she has written are all very good. Some that I would definitively recommend are: The Missing Series, The Shadow Children Series, and Double Identity.

First of all I met the author of found and there will be 7 books in the series not 4. Also I loved the book it was really good.

Two friends, both adopted, discover the crime of the century. But not their century. Chip and Jonah are just 2 kids that what to know who they are, but that leads to, what some people call, a threat to national security.
