This book is kind of fun. I like this book. It is a short and easy read and is relaxable during the summer. I like this book.

The 4th book of The Giver series, this concludes the series by adding the mother of Gabe to the story. The book ties in characters from before and is split in to 3 parts, each for the new location.

I really liked this book. I liked the characters. I would recommend this book. Its a really fun book to read this summer. I liked it!

This book for me wasn't as enjoyable as I thought it could have been. I'm pretty sure this book was meant for older audiences. My older sister said that people who have read a book called the giver would have a better understanding on the concept so I was completely stuck. I think others will like this book because my older sister said she did..

If you enjoyed reading The Giver then surly you will enjoy this novel. This tale has the same concept but only a different perspective. I enjoy mostly adventure/journey books so this for me was slower. But if you like reading fantasy or mystery this is the novel for YOU.

Lois lowery books are really good so I would like to read this one. It sounds like a great story made new. I will read this one.

"Son" is the heartwarming conclusion to the famous novel "The Giver". Lois Lowry weaves the story of a young girl named Claire, who is given the job as a Birthmother. Claire's first birth was unsuccessful; however, her baby survived. The Community reassigned Claire to another job, but she managed to find her son, named Gabe, at the nursery. She visited him very often, yet she knew that she couldn't keep him. One day, a boy named Jonas (the protagonist of the previous story), flees with Gabe. Heartbroken and shocked, Claire attempts to run after them, but finds herself lost at sea. She forgets almost everything about her life. However, as she bonds with the villagers of an island, she begins to recollect her memories. As she remembers, she becomes more and more determined to find her son. Both Claire and Gabe undergo hardships, willing to do anything at all, to reunite with one another. "Son" is a beautiful story about the special connection between a mother and her son, and is absolutely a must-read.

I loved this book! I thin lois lowry is a really good author! he wr ote the giver, number the stars, and mch more! I recommend this book to anyone who likes adventure!

Before you read this book, I suggest you read it in order and everything will make sense, I promise. In this book there are three parts that go to it like a part 1, 2, 3... but it is called Before, Between, and Beyond. I really love the style how the author wrote it. It is very descriptive. Also the language is very powerful and has it's own meaning, voice, and sense to it. There are so many powerful themes to it like suffering, sacrifice, and love. It was very moving and fast pacing. I really ENJOYED it.

I saw a review for this book and it looks really good, it makes me want to read the whole series, so I should probably get on that. I so excited.
