I love this book i read like 6 times and when my friends saw me read they started reading it to it is a really fun book

The characters are so authentic its amazing to see how differently people acted back then.

I love this book so much I read it once a month. It's so cool.

this book is so amazing! I love how they all work together to solve their problems, and take care of each other. I love the different adventures they go on, and how they solve the mysteries. i TOTALLY recommend this book for younger readers at bedtime. the suspense of not knowing what happens in the next chapter will make them want to keep reading. Once you read one, you'll want to read the whole series.

The Boxcar Children is a book about 4 young children Henry, Jessie, Violet and Benny. Their parents have died, and they are supposed to go live with their grandfather. But the siblings are afraid that their grandfather will be mean and grumpy, even though they have never met him. So they decide to run away, and live on their own. After a night in the woods, the kids find a old boxcar. They fix it up, and make their own home. Henry goes into to town each morning and afternoon to do odd-jobs for a nice doctor to earn money for food and treats. The children are living happily in their little home. But will they be discovered? Will there grandfather find them? Is he really as bad as they supposed? I recommend this book to young elementary children. It is a very low reading level, probably for 2-3 graders. I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars.

This book gave me a good read every time that I said down to read it. This book shows that no matter what, there will always be some good in the world.

This book is about four siblings (Henry,Violet, Jessie, and Benny) who have no known relatives expect for a grandfather who they believe is mean. They decide to live in the woods in an abandoned box car. They survive and end up living with there well off grandfather who is very nice despite what they thought. They go on many adventures together throughout the series

This is a good book to read because it has adventure and many kids like that including myself. So people should get this book over the summer.

This book was so interesting! How crazy for kids to live in a boxcar! The end is wonderful when their grandfather adopts them. I definitely recommend this!

This is one of my favorite books. It is about four orphaned children who don't want to live with their grandad because the were told that he was mean. One day they find a boxcar and live inside it. They make a live for themselves and in the end they figure out that their Grandad isn't so bad after all.
