Raina Telgemeier, who wishes to be normal sixth grader in her school, and member of the Girl Scout. But when she was with her Girl Scout for the sleepover, she was the last one to get out of the car, but when she falls on the curb, injuring her two fronts teeth. That caused Raina have to go through long but frustrating journey with on-off braces, surgery, awkward headgear, and even having to have an retainer with fake teeth attached to it. This graphic book is based on true story about Raina. Even though that Raina had to go through all of these, she still struggled with fit in the sixth grade through rest of the middle school and high school. So, the main idea about this book; showing that how you look like on outside doesn`t really matter, only your inside matter. This book is super inspiring because it is based on the author`s true story. I would def recommend this book! Happy Reading!
