Iron Trial is extremely interesting and well written but the plot is UNBELIEVABLY similar to the plot of Harry Potter. A summary: Ten years after a war against the mages and the enemy of death. An ordinary boy learns he is mage and is brought to a school to master his powers. He meets lovable Aaron and smart, bossy Tamara. Together they learn to control there power and fight the evil enemy of death. It is a good book but not exactly original. I do recommend to any one especially if they like harry potter.

It is cool so fay

This is a really good book, because this book is amazing. Its about this kid name Call, (his real name is Callum Hunt) he have to enter a test to be a place call Magisteruim, but his father tell him to fail, because he said they treat them bad.

This book is good so far!! It is about a kid name Callum Hunt. His's dad told him that magic is dangerous, and told him to fail the test that the Magisterium give him, because his mother die. That is the beginning, but I am in middle of the book.

Do you love a story with magic and adventure than this book is good for you. Ever since Callum has been a boy his father has been telling him magic is bad and so is The Iron Trial which is a magic school everyone dreams of getting into but not Callum. When the time comes for him to try and fail to get into The Iron Trail, he fails at failing and is now in the Iron Trail. See the adventures and luck he gets in The Iron Trail.

A good book. It combines magic, corrupted and and people, elegant based beasts and a dark backstory, and is still awesome.

This book centers around a twelve year old kid named Call Hunt, who has been accepted into a school for magic called the Magisterium, though his father doesn't want him to attend. While at the school, Call makes new friends, new foes, and discovers a shocking secret about himself that turns his whole world upside down. This book was fast paced, original, and had plenty of funny moments too. It's got friendship, love and lots of mystery. Unlike most fantasy books, this one doesn't have the usually clear-cut lines between good and evil; on the contrary, it ends with a shocking plot twister that is sure to keep you on your toes and dying to read the next book. I would reccomend this to people that love fantasy, friendship, and fast paced adventure.
